A mix of very good Chinese and Japanese cuisine, at a really good value for the money. The menu is quite exhaustive, could be simplified, curry chicken on the Chinese menu is amazing!! Rolls in Japanese menu are ok. Cooked rolls are ok. Cold ones are great! And amazing value for money! Over all would recommend it highly. Esp the Curry Chicken!

This place was delicious! Definitely will come here again! Be sure to get seated at a table, because they won’t let you sit in a booth once evening time if it’s only two of you lol but other than that the food was great and the service was good too!

The young lady who took our order was very nice. The food was not. The Sushi was ok, the bento box teriyaki was ok, but the chicken was overcooked and felt like it was sitting for a while. The absolute insult was the orange chicken. It was soggy and bland. I ordered takeout, but I live in town. It’s a small dang city, less than 1.5 mile drive to my house. The orange chicken was worse than the leftover chicken at Safeway at night, microwaved. I would have done better if I bought some frozen orange chicken entree and baked it. I’ve ordered takeout from Chen’s so much that I know this isn’t me. Maybe it was just a bad day. But this ruined my dinner. I decided to coat it in yoshidas and broil it to get it somewhat crispy and flavorful .

Orange chicken is your “chef recommended” dish. I will try it again because I LOVE trying new places. I’ve enjoyed my dine in. And if it’s good I’ll leave a great review. But this was an insult tonight.

I hate writing negative reviews about local businesses, but this one needs some honest feedback. The service was excellent—our waitress was kind, attentive, and patient, and she did her part very well.

Unfortunately, the food missed the mark. The menu is absurdly long, which usually signals a lack of focus, and that seemed to be the case here. The appetizers tasted like freezer-section food with very little flavor or care put into them.

The kids’ meals came out roughly 20 minutes before the sushi, and when the sushi finally arrived, it was a letdown. The sauces were bland, several rolls fell apart, and most concerning of all—the sushi was warm. Not room temperature—actually warm. Sushi should never be served that way.

This place has potential, but until the menu is tightened up and the basics of sushi preparation are handled properly, I won’t be returning. I hope they improve, because I’d like to support them.

After waiting almost an hour for our takeout order, we got home (five minutes away max) and opened everything up to a big bag of disappointment. We didn’t get part of our order, but when called and asked for a refund, I got the run-around. The rest of our order we got was like freezer section food that was fried instead of baked, it’s clear they do not make anything in house. Sauce was generic, sushi was meh, and overall I’d rather take the trip to Salem or Monmouth for higher quality.

The menu. Oh my goodness is it all over the place. I hope you’ll have an idea of what you want to eat before you show up, because there’s SO much on the menu. I’ve worked in a lot of restaurants, and when your menu is this big it’s very clear that you have no identity and have no focus on what you want to offer your guests, which makes it very difficult to rotate stock in for freshness, which is another indicator to me that everything is ordered in frozen.

I can’t recommend this spot for any reason, unfortunately.

Overall food was great. Staff, friendly and outgoing. I had the Thai Tea. Aka teddy bear tea. It was sweet. The prices are a bit more than I would like to spend. But overall I would recommend this to a friend

Food is always excellent. They have a decent selection of vegetarian options. The Thai tea is bomb. I’ll come back for the food and the bear glasses.

Tried this restaurant Saturday night for the first time and was really disappointed with the customer service. It was like they were very unhappy to interact with us. Food was meh, honestly will go back to chens in Dallas from now on. The Thai tea was good though.
