What a great spot just off 81. The service was great, and friendly. We met Mo and looked around the gift shop and the Chapel while we waited for the food. I had the chicken fried steak and my friend had a great burger. They have very good sweet potato fries and the CFSteak was good and the breading was crispy, which goes well with a nice gravy*.
If I am in the area again, I will return.

Long trip, more than road weary, when we came across a sign pointing to Mo’s. We hadn’t planned to stop, but so glad we did. In all our travels across this country, this was by far some of the best food and service we have had. We sat down about 15 minutes behind a group who had driven a couple hours to eat at Mo’s, there was about 2 dozen people in said group. The staff warned us it may be a wait, but it really wasn’t. The chef even did the omelets correctly, which means a longer cook time than you usually get.
Breakfast sides were huge….hashbrowns and a plate side pancake. My meatloaf tasted just as homemade as my partner’s breakfast. We liked it so much, we actually have been looking into the area for RV sites, etc., so we had a good place to eat once in a while since I no longer cook.
Thanks Mo’s and staff, great management, and for having a spotless, huge restroom.

Took my daughter and granddaughter to breakfast at Mo’s. I’m very disappointed. Not like it had been every time my wife and I have been before.
My eggs that were supposed to be over easy were between over medium and hard. Sausage was cold and hard. Gravy was cold. My coffee had like two tablespoons of grounds in the bottom of the cup. The only saving grace was the girls Cimmaron pancakes and their iced latte’s. Service was lackluster. Wouldn’t have been so disappointing if they were slow and busy. But, that wasn’t the case. Really had looked forward to eating there this morning. 53.00 for 3 people not including tip, which wasn’t as good I normally leave. Hope when and if we go again that it will be as good as it was before and that this was a one off experience.

Sat down around noon, the staff seemed to be in a panic about the crowd and lack of staff… There were two waitresses, two people in the kitchen, one guy just wandering around, and a manager showed up from a wedding venue next door at one point, and there really weren’t that many people in there, no wait to sit and certainly not a full house. I waited just a little over an hour for my food, got served the wrong order once, almost twice. I had scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage and a cimarron pancake. The food was pretty good, it wasn’t so spectacular I’d wait that long for it again. They did apologize multiple times, gave me a free barista drink, discounted my meal… I left a ten dollar tip, hoping to encourage them to do better. A small town like this needs a diner like this to thrive.

Charming local diner with good food and even better service. Super cute atmosphere and very clean. We got to have breakfast there for the first time this morning and everything was delicious. There is a coffee bar and a bakery as well for dessert or to take home. Spent another hour in the gift shop next door full of Oklahoma made decor, candles, tee shirts, food, books, etc. A delightful way to spend a Saturday morning!

Mo’s Place is located in a renovated block in downtown Waukomis, Oklahoma. The food is great and the service is fast and friendly. Mo’s sits between The Painted Buffalo, a small gift shop, and a chapel, which is available for dining, for larger parties, weddings or meetings.

Absolutely the best home cooking ever with all the fine touches of small town people offering the best, most attentive service anywhere. I’ve tried many things on the menu & it’s ALL phenomenal! It’s become our favorite Friday breakfast place.

Has some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had in my life. I have been there twice and there has been a bit of change in the service, but for the most part they are pretty attentive but the food does take a bit. Love the small town vibe to it and will be back again!
