Got the $18 TGTG. Description said Cake $54 value! Got there early waited a a minute or two. Beautiful store, was thinking of even getting something else. Got a bag with a the cake box which felt light. I was a bit surprised that was it. I’ve left other bakeries on the app getting the “premium bundle”- with bags of baked goods, cake, and breads. But still I kept hopes high. Got home. It’s a carrot cake. Not only is it JUST a carrot cake but an OLD DEFECTIVE carrot cake. The surface felt dry. Dry cracks on the top. Even the side of the cake looks like it’s decaying or browning? I threw it out. Idk how anyone in the store could have let that cake leave. Even for a too good to go. Not worth $20. Not worth $10. Belongs in the trash which is where it now lives. Also whoever is running their too good to go…. Either take this option down or change it. Your description says $54 value. This cake and every cake on your website say $36. I’m never going back… Such a shame.

I have been a loyal customer for dortonis for years. Use to get a lot from there levitown location. Once they opened in Huntington I was excited. However I ordered a cake for my daughter’s 3 birthday. I sent them a pic of what I want with slight changes and they said “we can do it for sure”. I went to get the cake and the snowflakes are falling down and it’s nothing like the picture. They kept saying “when you go home you can fix it”. Uhhhhhh no. I asked to speak to a manager and they don’t have managers on Sundays. They said they couldn’t fix it and the best they could do was give me a 25 dollar store credit. I was very upset and asked if they have a manager on call cause there’s no way out of all the years I worked in food service I would never let that leave my restaurant. They said they were trying but couldn’t get a hold. So they said to try Monday for a manager. So I took the cake and they told me they made the cake Saturday the day before. But after we cut into it and ate it you can tell that it was made 3 or 4 days earlier. Very upset and disappointed. If I don’t hear back from them I will be doing a charge back on my card then.

This is my second cake with Dortoni’s and they have by far exceeded my expectations! The cake that they made for my daughters 2nd birthday was exactly like the photo I sent them. Maybe even better. It was delicious and all my guests were in complete awe of the cake design, the flavor, and taste. I will be using them for all my cakes in the future. Very resonable and very tasty.

My experience at the bakery was absolutely spectacular, and it was all thanks to Jasmine, Josie, and Juliet. From the moment I walked in, they were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely happy to help. They worked together so smoothly and made the whole place feel warm and inviting. Not only were they incredibly kind, but they were also attentive and made sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely devine too!!! And their positive energy and professionalism truly stood out and made my visit unforgettable. I have been a loyal customer of Dortonis Bakery for many years and have always been satisfied with their service, their specialty cakes, their flavors and designs. I have always visited their store in Levittown and since I moved to Suffolk County and learned about their new store in Commack, I started buying there. After they opened in Huntington, I decided to buy there because of the closer distance. This is my third time buying there. However, this time they did a very poor job with my Napoleon cake. I think the people who served me, from those who made the cake to the people at the counter, did a very poor job. I will post a photo of my cake and the previous two. A big difference. Very disappointed.

occasion. I must have repeated myself 3 times to ensure the order was taken correctly over the phone, so
where was this miss. On top of that the cake wasn’t even fully ready so why bother pre-ordering at all. If you are looking to get your special occasion ruined, then by all means call Dortoni’s. My recommendation go someone else where you can have piece of mind knowing your order will be executed correctly from beginning to end.

Definitely recommend, the staff was friendly and patient the cookies were so good! We got around half lb which was around 13 cookies and we also got two blueberry croissants, and for all of that it was reasonably priced at 30$ The scent inside of the bakery was so warm, welcoming and absolutely delicious. For sure coming back soon 5 stars!

Garbage establishment. After my 5 times here, 4 of those have been unpleasant experiences. My family ordered a cake for my grandfathers birthday, which had mold ALL over it (outside and inside). Was skeptical but thought it was a one time thing. Went there again and got another cake for a birthday which came with a hair deep inside the cake which had to be pulled out. Very rude customer service, tried arguing over what time my cake was supposed to be picked up. Will never be coming here again, very unhygienic and very rude.
