Instead of going through the drive-thru, I chose to dine in, and I’m glad I did. The location was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food came out fresh. For a fast food stop, you really can’t ask for much more.
I ordered the Chick-n-Strips meal, which came with waffle potato fries and a drink. Everything was hot, crispy, and tasted just right. For sauces, I grabbed Chick-fil-A sauce, sweet and spicy sriracha, and garden herb ranch, all solid picks for dipping.
When I contacted my bank, I was advised to resolve the issue with the merchant first. I came into the store specifically to speak with a manager, and the response was dismissive and unhelpful. There was no sense of urgency or concern about correcting the issue despite the fact that I was charged twice.
Earlier that same day, I had already ordered food for delivery, which makes this even more frustrating. Due to this experience, I will be taking my business to the Bear location going forward.
Additionally, when I came into the store, I was waiting in line and was completely ignored while staff continued assisting DoorDash and other customers even though I was there first. Basic customer service and acknowledgment were missing entirely.
To make matters worse, the manager I spoke with was the same individual who handed me my order earlier, after I repeatedly had to flag someone down because the payment system was having issues despite my account having sufficient funds.
This experience is a far cry from the old-school Chick-fil-A level of service the brand is known for. This location seriously needs to revisit basic customer service standards and accountability.
My only wish, is they had built it with an exit to Christiana Rd. Entering/exiting through a busy Wawa parking lot is less than ideal.
Had a bad experience tonight. I only ordered 1 soda through the app. My husband managed to order and have the food cooked from Suki Hana next door and I still hadn’t had my name called. I finally went to the counter to find my soda had been sitting there the whole time and when I told the cashier I was upset that I had been waiting so long, the guy handing out the food shrugged his shoulders.
Shout out to Julia the cashier, she was really pleasant and did apologize on his behalf.
Biggest issue that can make your location better compared to other sisters stores, have dog treats. I have always gone to the RT 13 store since opened and it has become an event for me and my pups. I was told again tonight I can PAY for 2 nuggets!!! Gtfo.
