Local, local, local! And so much fun! Great vibe and food in this long time favorite spot in the Wayland area. Perched on a lake with a great view this 100 year old establishment, known as The Chat, is loved by all who grace its bar and restaurant. We were there in early December with a bit of snowfall, I’m sure the patio is delightful in warmer weather. We attended a real estate event and met the proprietor Kenny who was proud of this favorite hangout. The food was elevated bar food served by the most cheerful and accommodating server. Fish and chips, burgers, fries were all delicious. We will be back!

One of my absolute favorite restaurants! It has the cutest vibe and the absolute sweetest staff. The food is also incredibly delicious, and the decorations make it a super unique place. Additionally, the location is superb: with a parking lot and a cute lake!

We had to wait 20 minutes for a table that we had previously reserved. It then took the waitress another 20 to greet us. Our food came out in a timely manner, but nothing special, regular american food.

This is the most literal “hidden gem” I have ever found. The location is very unique. The inside was filled with a ton of character. Both my Gf and I got burgers, neither of us were disappointed.

This place is a gem tuck very nicely by a pond and residential area. The atmosphere was chill and awesome. The food was amazing and our waitress Liz was fabulous. Will definitely make it a routine stop through my travels up to Boston.

Dudley Chateau is a blast from the past with a dive bar twist that’ll surprise your taste buds while keeping the vibes chill and fun. The staff here aren’t just attentive; they’re part of the fun, making everyone feel welcome with their stellar service and easy smiles. When it comes to food, think dive bar meets gourmet—each dish is a flavor-packed journey that’ll have you questioning how such culinary magic happens in a laid-back spot. I highly recommend trying their Buffa-que wings well done for a crispy, tangy, and slightly sweet experience that’s simply unforgettable. Between the delicious surprises on the menu, the genuinely cool staff, and an atmosphere that screams ‘good times only,’ Dudley Chateau is your go-to for an unforgettable night out.

Have been coming here over the years and had a good experience in the past. I think this is our last visit, and that is a shame. Waitress was all smiles with her buddies ar the bar but we seemed to be a bother. Burgers were very disappointing compared to previous experiences.
I would not recommend.
