Tequila Jalisco 2 in Lawson sits right by the golf course, and you notice the atmosphere as soon as you walk in. The chairs and benches are incredible. Each one looks uniquely carved and painted, and no two are the same. They are colorful, detailed, and full of character. We kept looking around the room because every chair had something different to admire.
The service was excellent. The staff was friendly, quick, and attentive. The food was good and came out hot and fresh.
This place feels comfortable, welcoming, and lively. If you are in Lawson, it is worth stopping in to enjoy the atmosphere, the unique artwork, and a good meal.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times and it just seems to get worse with each visit. Took my daughter there for dinner, our waiter was not friendly AT ALL, the cheese dip always seems to come out cold, and the chicken quesadilla came out flooded in water and was soggy. This was sent back and the already bad attitude of our server just got worse. We felt very rushed the whole time, especially asking us if we wanted boxes as we’re taking bites, still clearly eating. Just a horrible experience. Then the next day when I checked my bank account, they had taken upon themselves to add $3 more dollars to the tip I had left. We definitely will not be returning.

Service here was a little slow but not bad. The atmosphere is good, fun furniture The high ceilings make it noisy so not for someone wanting a quiet place. The food was good there are so many choices and not similar to a lot of the local restaurants. However if you don’t like spicy it’s not for you. My husband loved it but my reflux didn’t.

This is sort of an out of the way place next to the Lawson golf course, one might easily miss it if you were not looking for it. When you walk in the colors of the walls and tables remind you touristy Mexico; brilliant use of colors and imagery but a bit over done. The chips/salsa arrived fast and were light and salty and held up to the spicy salsa. The menu is quite large but we stuck with the lunch menu expecting smaller portions. The chicken fajitas were spicy good and enough sides to finish the entire plate. The eggs con chorizo was good with larger than expected portions of all the good things! With such a large menu I look forward to tasting some of the other fare.

We were camping at the Lawson campground and decided to try this place Friday night, our first time being here. We live in Richmond, so we have been to that restaurant multiple times.
The service was fast, food was nice and hot, lots of chips and salsa and drink refills. The shrimp tacos were amazing. Several family members got the fajitas. Sizzling hot, with lots of meat and veggies. If you like Bloody Mary’s try the Michelada, amazing! So good! The atmosphere was fun, with baseball games and basketball games playing on the TV’s. There is lots of room to sit, and a big bar if you don’t want a table. There is also lots of parking. If you haven’t been here, you should try it!!

My taco salad had zero taste and the shell was so full of some type of moisture or wetness in the bottom. The cheese dip is way too runny. Makes a large mess to try and eat it. Falls off the chip and drips across the entire table. Won’t stick to chips. Thickness not there.

Been a couple times now. Food is great. Chicken fajitas are excellent. The burritos we got were also great. Big portions. Only thing I haven’t been overly impressed with so far are the margaritas but that’s okay we don’t always order one. You won’t leave here hungry.
