They’ve just changed ownership and the menu to Vietnamese (I believe it was Chinese before though this was my first time here). It was delicious!!
They served a pot of hot tea right away along with waters. We had vegetable spring rolls and shrimp rice paper rolls (I can’t remember the name) as an appetizer.
My 3 and 7 year old split the vietnamese banh mi (pork roll) sandwich with no jalapenos and they ate every bite. My husband ordered Pho Ga (chicken soup) and it was the best we’ve had in the area. I had the L4 shrimp with veggies and noodles. It was all very well prepared and delicious. Great portions. Nice decor and seemed very clean. Highly recommend!

I stumbled across the new Vietnamese restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The pho was on par with No. 1 and Superior Pho in Cleveland. The Bahn Mi was well executed and quite tasty. The owner was very hospitable, and thanked me for coming. We need to support places like this that bring authentic dishes to the suburbs! I will be back weekly!

We appreciate the atmosphere at Gum Do. It is not modern but comfortable and like home especially with Charlie and Fannie who are welcoming every time. We have been going there for over 15 years and we love their food and never have any problem with service. They even remember our to go order when ordering out better then we do and remind us we forget something that we usually order. They are great and we love Gum Do.

So much better now that it is a Vietnamese restaurant! The old “New Gum Do” was so outdated, the interior looked very 70s-80s and musty, and the food was very 70s-80s and musty as well. The new owners re-did the interior, and the menu is a welcome change! Their pho is DELICIOUS, as are their appetizers. The staff was very polite and friendly when I came to pick up my order, everything was fresh and just what I expected. Cannot wait to try other menu items.

A friend suggested we meet for lunch here, and glad we did! The restaurant changed to Vietnamese 3 weeks ago, and redone inside, but the outside looks the same…so I had no idea. I had B2 (grilled pork vermicelli bun) and friends had Pho. Large portions. Great flavor. Good service, and quick.

Had a P1 Pho and the A1 egg rolls. First I must say I was taken aback by the remodel. This place had remained untouched since my first visit in the 80s. Same too with the menu. Nevertheless it definitely now has the menu of a Vietnamese restaurant. The pho was large and flavorful. Came with the normal leaves, sprouts and peppers. Very good for the price. Tea tasted the same as before, which is heavenly in its own simple way. I’ll be back next week.

I can’t believe that I just found out that this place is a Vietnamese restaurant now! As soon as I heard I had to try it, and we were not disappointed. I think I’ve had every bowl of pho that the city of Cleveland and surrounding areas has to offer, and this place is officially in the top 2. I may eat there every day.

I’ve been going here since I was a child- I love this place. The family who owns it is friendly and efficient. The prices are very reasonable, and they do offer vegan/vegetarian options (not many, however). The facility is also wheel-chair accessible! The egg rolls here are delicious, best ones I’ve ever had.
