This is an ok treat cafe. It’s worth it to try just once, but I probably won’t return.

The cakes are adorable! The presentation is perfect. They are not very sweet, which might be great depending on your taste. The sunny side up cake still tasted good, although the sponge cake layer was dry and it didn’t have enough fat to give it a good flavor.

Unfortunately, the service is not very good. It took a few minutes for the shopkeeper to acknowledge us when we entered. I also didn’t feel very welcome while I was there. I felt like the people there wanted me to buy my cakes and leave immediately.

First time coming to this establishment, the staff was very kind and helpful when we asked for recommendations; Love the fact that its so close to PCC, will definitely be coming for a pre-class matcha!

This is Pasadena’s best kept secret. Adorable cakes in a tin that are perfect for picnics or to take home. Literally couldn’t decide which one was my favorite—the mango one that looks like a sunny side up egg, but I think the matcha yuzu with the fluffiest chiffon cake definitely won.

Besides sweets, they also have Japanese-style sandos. The staff recommended the one with pork floss–if you don’t know what pork floss is, give it a try, I guarantee it goes so well with the egg sando!

Thanks for reading! ^-^

This freaking oat honey latte was amazing… glorious, wonderful! I made a vow not to buy any sort of coffee at a shop unless it was something unique that I couldn’t easily make at home, which is why I jumped at this latte with honeycomb in it. It started out so smooth and perfectly creamy with just the right sweetness. The honeycomb melts and continues to sweeten the drink as it sits in the drink. In the end, it was a little sweeter than I generally liked, but it was still really good. The chocolate moouse strawberry cake was lovely as well. Anytime I’m in the area, I’ll be stopping by grabbing a coffee!

Pillow Talk made it on my list of places to try while I’m in Pasadena for work.

The egg sandwiches and chiffon cakes caught my eye and they didn’t disappoint!

I ordered the Egg Heaven, which was egg salad and chives with a hard boiled egg sandwiched in between lightly toasted bread. It was delicious!

To satisfy my sweet tooth, I opted for the Pink Lover chiffon cake which was a perfect blend of raspberry jelly and lychee mousse topped with fresh raspberries. It was nice, blend of berry and lychee flavor, very fluffy and not too sweet.

While I was bummed that they didn’t have the sunny side up, which was a mango and coconut medley, the Pink Lover made up for it.

The vibe was cute. I would definitely recommend for a really good Japanese style egg sandwich & unique dessert options from the black sesame chiffon cake topped with edible gold to the Taro Ube chiffon cake.

This place is a cute little cafe, glad I came here but not sure if I’ll be a repeat customer.

The cakes are kind of hit and miss, I came here for the sunny-side-up cake that looks like an egg. It was supposed to be mango flavor but the flavors are very mild. It just tasted like mildly sweet vanilla. The strawberry cake we tried had slightly more fruit flavor but not much and the strawberry tasted a tad artificial. Kind of a let down because that’s what we came here for. Again not bad but ehh…

The drink I has was supposed to be Tiramisu, but again barely any flavor just tasted like a mocha frap from Starbucks. But the bubbles on top were so fun to pop

I recommend giving this place a shot it’s unique and the desserts are sooo pretty. But in my opinion this is a style 1st kinda place.

A Tiny Bakery with Big Flavor
Tucked away in the heart of Pasadena, a quaint little bakery is making waves with its delectable sandwiches and refreshing beverages. Despite its modest size, this gem offers a culinary experience that’s anything but ordinary.
A Sandwich Sensation:
Indulge in their signature sandwich, a hearty and flavorful creation that’s perfect for sharing. At around $13, you’ll receive three generous half-sandwiches, making it an affordable and satisfying meal for two.
A Matcha Marvel:
For a refreshing pick-me-up, try their mango matcha. This delightful blend is not overly sweet, striking the perfect balance of fruity and earthy flavors.
Convenient Dining:
While the bakery doesn’t offer lots of indoor seating, you can easily enjoy your meal outdoors. Simply find a spot on the nearby street, pay the meter, and savor the deliciousness.

This has been in my bookmarks for awhile and finally got a chance to check it out since I was in the area. It’s a nice little spot! The tin cakes were so cute and they were delicious! Not overly sweet. Pink Lover was my favorite of the 3 gotten, but the other two were just as good. Also tried one of the egg sandos and they were tasty as well.

It looked like a very cozy café. However, the furniture is very basic and uninviting. The cakes look delicious and taste uniquely good. The sandwiches are cute and are perfect for a light meal. The latte was just mediocre. A big turn off point is that they do not let guests use the restroom. There is a big sign on the bathroom that says “No Public restroom”. I have two problems with that. It is unethical to deny restroom access with those prices; and secondly, it is unhygienic to have finger food but guests are unable to wash their hands before eating.
