Went for my daughter’s birthday.The staff were all so sweet and sang happy birthday and took a photo. Those were the positives. The food was NOT good, especially for the price. Shogun , in Bridgeport has far better food and ambiance. The salad was iceberg lettuce with an old tomato slice, the shrimp was dried out, the scallops were tasteless and the quantities skimpy. My biggest issue besides the food, was the decor. It is dated and shabby. Circa 1970,s. We checked the reviews before coming. I can’t believe people think this place is any good. Our friend from England, who had never been to a restaurant of this sort was disapointed and so were we.

My husband and I really like their food. We simply like Japanese cuisine. Hibachi’s food is fresh, well laid out, and tasty. In morgantown, I don’t expect to eat any better Japanese food like theirs since I tasted those authentic local foods in Japan and HK and know what the best tastes like. Besides, they are very kind and honest to customers. The price vs food quality is very worthy. I can tell the owner has heart for the food.

Do you love Sashimi, Nigiri, or the popular “Rolls”? This is your place! Aside from having the “usual” Sashimi and Nigiri you’d find at other places, they also offer some specialty dishes.
The moderately high variety of Rolls are meticulously prepared and consistently good!
I haven’t had sushi this good since I lived in Las Vegas, Nevada.
