In preparation of the meal, delicious chips and a spicy dip were served. Then, I was served/ate homemade birria taco and the ingredients tasted so fresh & delicious! I loved that salad ingredients were a part of meal (fresh slices of cucumber, radishes on side of plate & shredded cilantro and onions over tacos). Yummy! With a cup of beef soup. Than you!

I live in the area and always pass by this place on 2nd wondering how it is. I’ll be honest, area is not the greatest but finally decided to stop and give it a try and was not disappointed. We ordered the traditional tlayuda with steak and chorizo and this was SO GOOD. It was about the size of a medium-ish pizza. The steak was our favorite part, it was super flavorful and moist. We also ordered the birria burrito. This burrito is huge! The birria wasn’t the most flavorful i’ve had but still a solid burrito. Not pictured but we also ordered the fried chicken chimichanga. Again, portion was huge. Not letting it sit too long is key so it doesn’t get soggy. We preferred their salsa verde vs the red salsa. Overall, if you like mexican food it’s worth the stop! We will be returning to try other popular items.

Service was fast and friendly, and the food came out hot and fresh. Their green salsa is very spicy—they warned me ahead of time—but I love heat, so it was perfect. The place was busy with people coming in and out for dine-in, pickup, and deliveries, which is always a good sign. The food was fantastic overall, and I’ll definitely be going back.

The tlayuda portions are huge and the birria is really excellent. The staff is very friendly as well. Definitely the best Mexican spot in Troy.

100% recommend for authentic oaxacan food and super friendly service. We loved the enfrijoladas with their herbal smoky taste from the avocado leaf. English was no problemo.

The first time me and my wife tried this place I found myself questioning the price of the burrito I ordered. When the food arrived I felt the price was justified based on the size. Once we ate our meals we both agreed that the price was more than justified. It’s a bargain. The portions are great and the food is great. The staff is very friendly. Nothing over the top. They seem genuinely happy you are there. We’re definitely going back soon.

The mole was fire, the enchiladas on point, and big burrito! And of course the service was really friendly. Definitely check this place out!

Fabulous Oaxacan food, and brilliant for vegetarians. Lovely service too. Our late dinner brought my husband and myself right back to Mexico.

I got the tostadas with chorizo for lunch today and WOW. I was blown away. They were loaded up, way more food than I was expecting. So so so delicious. And the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend!

Ive had their food and it is good however..I ordered my food at 430 she told me 15 20 minutes which was fine since I was coming from Albany…I get there at 5:11p she said give another 4 minutes because they had to make the tortillas..ok fine..5 minutes then 10 minutes go by while i watch them bring out table orders. I call her over and and she proceeds to tell.me that they have to make the food I ordered damn near an hour ago..so now I’m late for work and no food….horrible experience..I hate being lied to. my time is just as valuable as theirs which is why I called ahead of time..next timw tell people what’s really going on before they pay. Had you been honest I might have had the chance to pick up something fast. Good customer service goes for everyone not just people who are dining in. I will not go back there to order food. There are many restaurants that have a bit more respect for there patrons time.
