We are a family-owned cafe that started in Easthampton in a beautifully renovated train depot in 2013. Since then, we have opened stores across the valley in Northampton, Hadley, Florence, Ludlow, and West Springfield. With a focus on fresh and delicious food, our bagels and pastries are baked daily in our Hadley bakery and transported to each of the cafes. Our house-whipped cream cheese is a staple for any cream cheese lover – fluffy, creamy, and we have multiple flavor options! Great grab and go breakfast option if you’re looking for something quick and at a reasonable price! The breakfast sandwiches are amazing! Bagels are freshly baked and there are so many different kinds to choose from. Food came out quick and the cafe is clean and spacious. Also noticed there is more seating upstairs.

You know it was my first time over there. And I’ll tell you right now. I was hearing from a few other other people that the service here is garbage. I never really thought so I didn’t think so just from the atmosphere alone. But oh my God, are they right? The most bland sandwiches ever check this out you can see on my receipt. I says I got an onion bagel. I got two garlic and then my wife didn’t even get we got she got the Sriracha and it doesn’t even have Sriracha on it. Driest sandwiches ever. Honestly it seems like this place, they’re trying to go for that atmosphere but they don’t have the proper people to do the job honestly, the worst service and seems like not the brightest either.

This is my first time going to the Ludlow location. On 8/27/25 I had a big order for my office , 12 bagels and breakfast sandwiches. I put the name of each person who the sandwich was for and they wrote the name on top of the label for us. Each sandwich/ bagel was made to perfection. They did everything perfect and the food was fresh and delicious. One of my coworkers said it was literally one of the best breakfast sandwiches she has had in a long time. Best bagels in western MA. Try the French toast bagel and the blueberry ( has tons of blueberries in it) Definitely order online for pickup and then eat in. The line was can be horribly long ( 25 minutes for a bagel with butter!) Now, I order before I leave my house and by the time I get there, my order is waiting for me in the self serve pickup! Worth the drive if you’re not local! And has cool atmosphere in the old Mills building!

Loved the remodel—Tandem Bagel looks amazing inside! Went and grabbed a table on the second floor. Super cozy spot with a great view.
We tried a bunch of bagels—cheddar, cinnamon raisin, blueberry, multigrain, and sesame—and they were all so good. The veggie cream cheese was delish and paired perfectly with every flavor. Also had an iced coffee that was smooth and refreshing.
Can’t wait to come back and sit outside by the Riverwalk. Definitely a new go-to!

Insanely long line on Sunday, but that’s to be expected with the church crowd getting out. If I’m gonna wait for food tho I at least hope it’s good which it was not. The eggs were not made fresh and the bagels were stale. Everything tasted microwaved. Google Maps should tell you when something is a chain cuz I usually try to avoid them but I’m from the west where we don’t have “Tandem Bagel” – wouldn’t recommend

Fantastic! Their menu offers so much more than I was expecting. They have salads, soup, breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, pizza bagels and of course a variety of great quality bagels and different flavors of cream cheese. They also offer several coffee options, smoothies and other drinks. Inside is absolutely beautiful. Great place for a quick bite or to sit with friends. It’s also a great place to bring work and get stuff done!

Finally! We needed a good bagel place around here and Tandem is that and more. Great selection of bagels and they’re as good as I recall from my native Long Island.
Interesting and creative sandwich menu, efficient, friendly staff and the interior, an old, long vacant mill building has been transformed beautifully.
Outdoor seating available and last but not least, excellent coffee. So happy they opened in my area!

Nice atmosphere, over priced. Salad was mostly lettuce no protien offered and for $8 half size. Ordered coffee date and it was nasty tasted like a protein shake but no protien powder listed in it. Would go again but maybe just a plain coffee and bagel. Menu is vast but even if it sounds good not going to chance it with their prices. Atmosphere very nice and very busy. A few bagel sandwiches and half salad we waited over twenty minutes to get our to go order. Plus don’t forget to tip for your coffee and bagel when paying on your card.
