I recently visited Saigon Asian Street Food in Oakville and had a great experience. I ordered a soup, a bowl, and a banh mi — everything was delicious and full of fresh flavor.
The service was excellent, and the staff packed everything very carefully. By the time I got home, all the food was still in perfect condition and just as tasty.
Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommended!

The kalbi. It’s grilled to perfection, but what really sets it apart is this subtle, unexpected spice blend that adds a whole new layer of flavor. It’s bold, savory, and slightly sweet with a kick that lingers in the best way. I’ve never had kalbi quite like this—it’s seriously next level.
Heads up: there are no bathrooms on-site, and it’s more of a grab-and-go or quick bite kind of place. But for what it is, it delivers big. Oakville is lucky to have a spot like this—quietly excellent and totally unique. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved the food! The owners are really friendly and made sure we had a great experience. We ordered the egg rolls (the chef’s mom made it!), Vermicelli with grilled pork and veggies, dumplings and the BEST EVER La Kalbi with Chinese broccoli. We’re definitely coming back again

Ordered a chicken satay Bahn Mi and the chicken was very well spiced, but the real star of the show was the pickled daikon and carrots – perfect blend of sweetness and tang there. Chicken satay was crispy, but a little on the dry side, perfect for a noodle/ rice dish but would not recommend for Bahn Mi. Vietnamese coffee was strong, sweet and delicious.

Finally got to try Saigon after last time I arrived too late on a Sunday. So glad I came back! The egg rolls were so good! Packed with delicious flavours and cooked perfectly. Followed that up with the spicy beef soup which was perfect on a cold December afternoon. Fresh veg, good spice and delicious noodles! Definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Although it wasn’t as spicy as I’d hoped, they provided extra dressings that added flavor. The jasmine tea, likely black tea with jasmine, was a nice addition. I also appreciated the variety of toppings they provided for the soup.

We visited Saigon Asian Street Food in Oakville for the first time, and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely amazing, fresh, flavourful, and perfectly prepared. Every bite was a burst of authentic taste, and you can tell they really put care into their dishes. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, and the service was friendly and efficient. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious and satisfying Vietnamese street food! This is a family business that takes great pride in serving you the best tasting quality food with a warm and peaceful atmosphere. Everything was great and value for money was on point.
