The perfect place for a little family dinner or lunch. The pizza is amazing and the cookies are addictive. A good amount of options of drinks and the atmosphere is very cool.

Piccolo Paula’s looks like it’s cut straight from a hallmark movie with its small town diner appeal. The lady that was running the food out to customers must have picked me out as an out of towner because she brought me over a menu and let me know that the orders are taken up by the counter. I ended up getting one of the specials of the day, the Bison Burger and fries. Those fries were easily top 5 best fries I’ve had, and the burger was made to perfection. I highly recommend stopping by this place for lunch, and I will definitely be back again!

Saw the place on pennycollectors website and decided to stop by to get a pressed penny and try the food. I forget what sandwich I got but it was very good for the money. Staff was super friendly and I definitely would like to stop back again next time I’m out that way!

3.5 stars here. while on a road trip through the area to do some genealogy for my wife’s family we arrived in Parsons WV and came upon Paula’s. so we chose to have our lunch there. unique, funky decor and very sweet folks running the place. Paula gave us all the details we needed on the menu and the area.
my wife ordered the crispy chicken salad. basically green salad with chicken tenders. she liked it very much. it turns out this place is famous for it’s oak barrel aged steaks. the owner-i think-has a method for marinating steaks in old oak barrels. recipe apparently a secret. steak used in entrees and sandwiches. i chose the steak sandwich without the peppers or spicy aioli on a hoagie roll. the sandwich was cooked perfectly with sweet onions, lots of melty provolone, and plenty of steak. while i didn’t notice any special flavor in the beef hinting of a marinade, it was tender and delicious. not earth shattering but damn good. we also added a recently baked peanut butter cookie that also had mini peanut butter cups on top. really good. if your near here give them a try.

Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Awesome place to grab a bite to eat, if you are in the Parsons area. Had the grilled, buffalo chicken sandwich. Also recommend the Tuck Shermich panini.

This is a very cute small café that has great food! We stopped for lunch and had a grilled steak sandwich, grilled cheese and onion rings. Very good. Had to stay for dessert – cookie and canoli. Love the signs and decor.

We’d never eaten here before, so walked in and sat down. One of the owners(?) came over and greeting us warmly, went over the specials with us, answered our questions about the menu and just made us feel “at home.” The warm atmosphere was followed by EXCELLENT food! We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this caffe for lunch ANYTIME!
