Took my wife for Valentine’s Day as we were looking for a good place for Schnitzel. Despite the distance, it was truly a fantastic place! Very European vibe and cozy. The service was amazing and their Schnitzel truly to die for. If you are looking for good German food near Ottawa, give this place a try, you will be satisfied!

Wow, what a nice surprise! We decided to try this place since we were nearby and the Google reviews were awesome. I’m so glad for all the reviewers because we never would have found it just driving by. It’s even worth the trip from Ottawa or the surrounding area. The atmosphere is great, down to the small detail, and we were lucky enough to be served by the owner, which is rare these days. We had a great chat, and the food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back.

Lovely hidden gem in Oxford Station! The food was absolutely incredible. We got the potato pancakes and two different kinds of schnitzel and WOW. I grew up eating traditional German food and this is exactly what Linden Leaf had to offer. Super delicious with big portion sizes – true to tradition. The service was top tier, food came hot and fresh! Would definitely be back, and highly recommend for anyone who loves a nice home cooked meal.

Helga and Paige (mother and daughter) were great hosts for myself and 6 other diners. Definitely a place to return to when my hankering for German food arises again. Paige brought us fresh cucumber salads, on the house, midway through dinner. Helga, after cooking all the food, came through the dining room a few times to interact with us and the other guests. The food itself was delicious and the experience top notch. Maybe they can get Sauerbraten on the menu soon!

Excellent new restaurant outside of town. Very quick service and phenomenal food. The restaurant is very nicely laid out and decorated. Very personable waitress who was happy to take time to speak with you. This will undoubtedly be a frequent spot we visit

We ordered the brat schnitzel dinner and large poutine for takeout for the first time and it was absolutely delicious! The food was freshly made and hot. Buttery mash potatoes, tangy and delicious sauerkraut, fresh fries, and tasty schnitzel! Helga was super friendly! Our new go-to spot!
