We’ve been looking for an amazing Thai restaurant since moving to Mt. Lebanon and finally tried Thai Suan Thip. Woah! The food here is AMAZING!
Everything is fresh, amazing quality, and absolutely delicious. The owners are very nice, and you can tell they care about what they do.
Yes, it is a bit further from some places in Dormont or South Side, but this place easily competes with Noodlehead for food taste and quality. Highly recommend trying Thai Suan Thip the next time you’re looking for the best Thai food!

We tried the dumplings, Pad Thai, Ginger Chicken, and Panang curry.
Everything was exceptional, I especially enjoyed the ginger chicken.

This was my first time having Thai food and very pleased to say that it was AMAZING!!! This place was super quick with getting our food done in a good amount of time! Cute little place inside! Owner and cook super friendly and so happy that we tried it out!

Real authentic Thai food , made by a lovely lady. Her Pad Thai is amazing. Which is my favorite dish. A lot of taste and flavor. Spice depends on you on a scale of 1 to 5 fast service and great pricing. A must try when you’re out an about.

Thai Suan Thip is consistently one of the most delicious restaurants at which we choose to eat. The food is always hot, cooked perfectly, and portioned generously. Some of the low reviews make comments about bad customer service and that has not been my experience at all as Joy and her family are always kind and gracious hosts who have been conversational, have asked about my day, and have thanked me for my business every time I have ever been to their establishment. I would highly recommend this restaurant to not only anyone who is looking for great Thai food but honestly to anyone who is looking for just great food in general.

Chef joy is awesome. She cooks with love you will taste. The dumplings are phenomenal, although I would love to be able to order a larger portion, I just order a few.
All of the food on the menu is great, be sure to tell her the heat you want between 1(mild) and 5(fire).
This place is a gem. The family are great and treat you well.
No delivery, but take the drive to get it, well worth it.

Love, love, love this place! Never disappointed. Usually get chicken green curry. But everything we have tried has been mouth watering good. Thai Dumplings oh so good. Chef Joy is so nice and even though she is very busy she always lives up to her name. If you like Thai food you HAVE to try this place.

Few things in life are as genuine as Chef Joy and her cooking. If you’re looking for Authentic and delicious Thai food go no further. I suggest ordering out – Chef has limited seating and limited service (its usually just her and her husband) but he food is worth the wait. Her spicy basil chicken is the best I’ve ever had. You will not be disappointed!!!
