The best food in Sweet Home. I do not say this lightly. I’m 100% genuine. Nobody comes close to the flavors that Local Grindz is cookin’ up. Some of the most decadent pork belly my body has ever experienced.
The owner is wonderful and always looks to support our community. He offers a variety of dishes, all of which are incredibly delicious.
I cannot recommend this place enough. Please, please, please check this spot out! It’s one of the best around.

This is a food truck with tables in front. Lots of parking. Food was really good. We shared a chicken and pork plate. Chicken thighs were super tender, pork well seasoned and also tender. Mac and coleslaw was perfect. Had the macadamia chocolate pie which was super lite and yummy.

This place is absolutely amazing. Great legit hawaiian food and out of this world flavor. I drive from salem just to sit out front to eat and jam to their great music. I would recommend to everybody! Definitely give them a shot. Straight gem in sweet home.

Every visit I have had to Local Grindz so far has brought a whole new food venture for me. I originally heard about it from family, and ever since I have had nothing but great food, quick service, and a fantastic experience. The serving sizes are absolutely phenomenal, and I’d say if you have the money, it’s absolutely worth grabbing a bite from here. The owner is extremely polite, and awesome to talk to. I plan on visiting many more times!

Tried for the first time by accident lol. I stopped thinking it was a Mexican food truck. I was even more excited that it was Hawaiian! It was delicious. Even my 7 yo liked the meat and rice and he’s picky about food lol! Can’t wait to try the other stuff. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food you get!

Wow, where to begin? Possibly the best Hawaiian food I’ve had in my life, and possibly the best service I’ve ever had at a food truck.
Da Kanack Attack was a massive plate of juicy, tender pork, paired with a perfectly cooked, fall off the bone teriyaki chicken thigh. The couple bites of the Tsunami chicken were similarly excellent.
The macadamia nut cake was unique and a perfect finish to a memorable meal. I’ll be stopping here anytime I pass through Sweet Home from here on out!

After multiple meals from Local Grindz it’s time for a review. The food is exceptional! Hands down the best in town. I used to live in Hawaii and often times the food wasn’t as good as this food truck. Every part of the meal has been carefully crafted to have excellent flavor and texture. It definitely brings me back to my time on the islands, I highly recommend Local Grindz.

The chocolate macadamia lush pie is amazing
The tsunami chicken is delicious
But that gingery citrusy hot sauce you just gave me this afternoon was perfectly balanced and truly something to be proud of, It actually reminds me of this Guyanese Restaurants hot sauce in Portland Called bake on the run (also highly recommend that place) You should Bottle that and call it Worth the heart burn.
I wanted to go back and thank you in person but I think it’s more important to give you a good review, Thank you for Bringing your culture to a small town
