Delicious food, great friendly service. The chilaquiles breakfast was fantastic, and such a generous serving that I still couldn’t quite finish it! Wife had 2 tacos and also couldn’t finish even though they were delicious. We live 5 blocks from E Lake St in Minneapolis, and La Plazita’s Mexican food was as good and as authentic as the best places there, in the heart of the immigrant community. It looks like they’re opening a new branch in Appleton?

Everything is real expensive. I pay $9.50 for a bag of tostadas!!! You can find that for $5.50 at other Mexican stores. This is crazy $3.00 per avocado haha. What a joke.

I’m currently staying in Montevideo for work and I have eaten here several times. The food is amazing, and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend the torta cubana.

This is the first Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to where they sell guacamole but they don’t carry chips! That’s right, no tortilla chips! They weren’t just out, they actually don’t carry them. Ever. This would be like a hamburger place not serving french fries. And speaking of hamburgers, they actually sell those! And sushi! But no tortilla chips.
But the tacos were pretty good. So there’s that.

This place is phenomenal great food amazing staff.. very hard working owner if you go and it’s busy trust me it is worth the wait and worth every penny my favorite Mexican place. Very clean nice bar great music and family fun they have the bar on the other side and a big dining area seperate for families to enjoy with there kids

Definitely not some chain Mexican place, and that’s why it’s great. Stopped in on a whim while driving through town and I am blown away. Waiter was fantastic, food was even better. I actually live @90 minutes away and I am seriously considering driving over on random evenings just for the food.
If you like Mexican food you absolutely have to stop.
