Wow, what a wonderful atmosphere delicious food tastefully done and presented and a wonderful staff making for one of the best experiences I’ve ever had .Been here for lunch, but the dinner was phenomenal. The pork loin chop melts in your mouth and my server, Sadie, so pleasant, happy and attentive. Made for the best experience ever. I will be back and there’s plenty of room for large groups, and clients. I’m a big foodie. This place checks all the boxes Owner operated and he is apparently a cullinary chef,, it shows. if you’re a foodie like me this will be one of your favorite’s. . Set directly in front of a Beautiful park with Water way running through!

Our team celebrated the end of our business year and had a great time and a wonderful meal. The food was delicious with many great flavors and varieties of dishes that are all excellently prepared. We got the Kobe burger with a gluten free bun, steak salad with chicken, the New York steak, the tsunami bowl with ahi, crab cakes, and clams. Everything was great and our server Logan was incredibly friendly and engaging. They have great drinks too with ice tea with cranberry juice and a variety of delicious lemonades. I highly recommend this for a special occasion or fantastic meal.

My wife & I, absolutely love Chira’s relocation to Pringle Park Plaza. There is lots of parking, the inside decor is brightly lit with lots of windows and the overall location is away from the hectic Downtown Salem corridor. There is so much openness and breathing room so to speak. Gone are the dark gentlemen’s club decor from the Reed Opera house.
The food was superb on this occasion. My wife ordered the Poached Pear Salad and I had the 4-piece Fish & Chips. My wife devoured her salad and my Fish & Chips was divine with a neat table presentation of the fries.
Our server Yakovnava was an absolute gem. She was professional, and courteous, with a tad of gentle humor that made this evening excellent for the wife and I. The order was taken in a timely manner and the food came out at the perfect temperature.
We will definitely be back soon and when friends & family come to visit us in Salem, Chira’s will be one of the first dining experiences we will take them too.

Cute atmosphere. My steak was undercooked. The server that took me was so nice. The time between appetizer and food was greatly timed. My server helped out the bar by taking me so I really appreciated that. It is unfortunate that they were so understaffed that no one was able to two bite check in. I was unable to order a drink until after my appetizer. They were really busy.

We’ve been longtime fans of Chira’s, and every visit just reminds me why! Even on a busy night, Sadie was an excellent server; attentive, friendly, and made everything seamless. She was amazing and was very knowledgeable about food and drinks and it was all timed perfect. But OMG, the hostess! She’s effortlessly fashionable, and it adds to the warm, magical vibe of Chira’s. From the moment we walked in, she was fun, welcoming, and just the kind of person who makes the experience feel special. When I asked for recommendations, she suggested a few thoughtful options that hit every price point (without knowing I was on a budget!), not overwhelming, just perfect. And our food? Absolutely excellent. Later, when she came by to clear some plates, she offered the dessert menu. We said we were too full, and she had us laughing with the idea of being “dessert divas.” Honestly, how could we resist her hilarious explanation of “cuddle cake”? We ended up taking dessert to go. If you don’t know what cuddle cake means, you definitely need to ask her!

Service was friendly and cordial. Atmosphere…we were the only guests at first, which was nice. I think staffing may have been an issue. As they got busier, the attention really lagged and at times it felt like we had been forgotten. Food and presentation was pretty generic. Definitely not worth the prices being charged. In the future, we will go for drinks and/or dessert, not main course.
