Delicious bagels and schmear! It was about 20 minutes wait during rush hour on Friday morning. Please plan out your time before visiting or you might go to work late. This place is only opened 3 days a week, Friday-Saturday 8am-noon. It is a tiny space and only has a room for 4 people to stand inside the store. This is a grab and go, in and out store. No dining area.
It is $4 for a bagel or 3 for $10. Don’t be surprised when you see the price. It is a bit pricey. Normally, a plain bagel cost in Nashville and Franklin is around $2.75 or $4 including cream cheese schmear.

WOW! The bagels here are indescribably delicious! The toastiness of the bagel and the creaminess of the schmear is a perfect combination. We tried the rosemary garlic bagel with honey brie schmear and the salted bagel with strawberry schmear. The bagels were fresh and are very reasonably priced. The owner was kind, personable, and informative. He made our stop an enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend getting a bagel (or 2) from Bag of Joy Bagel Co!

Have been here now close to 10 times and every time it is just as good as the last. Can confidently say the jalapeno cheddar bagel with bacon cream cheese is the best bagel I’ve ever had. The owners are also extremely nice and make a point to talk to everyone who comes in. If you live nearby you have to give this place a try!

First visit due to limited shop hours and I don’t live in the city, happened to be in town for an early meeting. Came for a salt bagel and there was one left. I brought it home to toast and had one half with butter the other with cream cheese. This bagel was definitely not like the bagels of coastal CT/NYC where I lived for decades. This bagel was thinner, dark brown which to me means over cooked and had a sprinkle of salt. I was hoping for a plump, chewy bagel with a thick salt coating. I was a bit shocked at the price for a single bagel. Over $4, which I imagine is because of the low volume. If this is thier norm it will be a one and done for me. I wish them success but I doubt I will return.

Such good bagels! So friendly, so fresh, so damn good! Also tried the sausage pinwheel this time and WHAT?! I didn’t want to share with my wife. We’ve never had anything there we didn’t love but the jalapeño cheese is our favorite.

Delicious soft and chewy bagels! I’ll be visiting often. Make sure you come early, because they sell out fast! My favorite is the Salt bagel with bacon schmear. It’s amazing!

Waited about 15 minutes in the line, and wow was it worth every second! We had a sausage pinwheel— SO GOOD!! We grabbed the last one, and it was amazing. Also grabbed the rosemary sea salt bagel with bacon schmear and the rosemary sea salt with the garden schmear. Will be returning many more times. Also the man working is an absolute ray of sunshine!!!

Having lived in NY for most of my life where there are bakeries and cafes everywhere you take it for granted until you can’t find a place who serves fresh bagels. Bag of Joy is a small take and go bagel place and offers limited and very delicious schmears . I was hoping to try another taken for granted staple a bacon egg and cheese and unfortunately they sell out early. I got the Asiago bagel with vegetable smear and ordered the rosemary and bacon for my bf who is also a NY native. We both enjoyed our bagels and the owner was very friendly. The bagel is photo had some bites by me before I took photo . The parking was tricky and I had to use my parallel parking skills. Recommend and will definitely be back! 5 out of 5 on my yummo scale

I’m honored to have stood in line behind Joy, the first Joy to visit Bag of Joy Bagel Co. Made my day and very long wait worth it.
Staff is super nice. Looks like a family making a run at starting a business and that brings me joy.
The bagels are superb. I love a good NYC bagel, they’re so different than anything you can get in this area. The bagels at Bag of Joy are similar in texture to a NYC bagel, but with a little more softness and chew. Think of an NYC bagel gets married to a good focaccia bread and they have many babies.
The wait was long (an hour, mid morning on a Saturday) and they ran out of many flavors I wanted to try, but they’re new, so benefit of the doubt. They’ll figure out inventory and be overflowing with chewy goodness in the future.
The everything bagel I devoured was good. It had the right amount of topping, a little salty, but on in a bad way. May be from the cooking process. The schmear was legit.
I’ll return, but I’m surely coming much earlier to get my hands on an Asiago cheese bagel and some chive schmear.
EDIT: came back again, earlier. I ended up leaving. Waited 15 minutes and the line didn’t move. Probably 10-15 in line and it would take an hour. Until they fix serving customers, I can’t buy here. Looking forward to when they do though!

Food 4/5, Service 5/5, Facility 5/5. Bagels are good but lacks topping options, only cream cheese. The guys in there are ON IT! Facility, It’s not an eat-in sort of place but it’s well kept. That’s fine with me. I’ll be dropping in again.
