The girl working was not kind or helpful. I asked for the custard which she said “we are out.” Totally get that- but it’s what I came in for so I asked when it would be ready to serve which she came back with “I don’t know… not today though.” It was barely early afternoon.
I then asked about flavors in the case- which she said “honestly I don’t know what flavor it is- I would have to text my manager.” Not the most encouraging statement. I asked a few more questions but I could tell she was annoyed by my questions, so I picked a flavor quickly to just be done.
When she handed me the cup the custard was already melting over the sides- while I appreciated the generous helping, she stood and watched me as I cleaned up the mess she gave me along with what fell on the counter. No help or offer to help- just watching me struggle.
As a paying customer, I do expect to have some sort of kindness and helpfulness when I am giving you my business. I understand that it is “only $5 worth of custard” but some level of customer service instead of treating someone as an burden will get you a long way. I truly hope this location steps up on there employee training as this is not my first bad experience.
