Absolutely delicious potato taquitos topped with tender meats! Reminds me of home cooking, but better (don’t tell Abuelita). Handmade tortillas on the tacos which were also delicious. I can’t wait to come back and try more!

I’d consider this my favorite spot to eat on Swan Island.
Every taquito is filled with potato and then you choose if you want a meat topping or not.
I always go for the stewed beef, see photo for reference.
I got 4 taquitos with meat for $15 which I think is totally reasonable.

On Wednesday, we made a detour to Tito’s Taquitos Swan Island in N Portland.
This was a clean, quick and friendly lunch spot located in the Swan Island industrial area. They have indoor and outdoor seating, with lots of parking.
My husband ordered one rib eye taco on blue corn tortilla, one garlic butter shrimp taco and 4 crispy hand-rolled potato filled taquitos topped with braised beef.
They also offered green, red, or habanero sauces.
Each bite has their flavor, texture, components and the balance to satisfy our taste, we love it.

The gentleman at the counter courteously walked me through the menu, was kind and patient, and had a great personality and attitude. Everyone I saw and interacted with made it a more enjoyable experience.
ATMOSPHERE:
Basic, but very clean and cared for. While I was waiting for my food, one of the staff was meticulously scrubbing the front of the garbage bin. It’s clear to me they care about the appearance, cleanliness, and experience.
I said it at the top, but in case you read this far, I’ll say it again: go here. Say hi to the staff. Eat the food. Enjoy the experience!

Let’s put another five star review on the boards! If you ever suffer the Injustice of visiting Swan Island you can totally compensate for that by eating these taquitos. If you are a foodie who likes taquitos it’s worth up to a 4-mile drive. The taquitos only come in orders of four and you must choose all one Style. All the taquitos have potato inside and the meat options are served as a giant pile on top. Their well made, crunchy, clean tasting, and have just the right toppings on them.

Went on a Saturday – tons of parking available in the lot and we were able to sit at their outdoor tables. Very kind and attentive service – thank you! The food was stellar and we will be back. All the taquitos are filled potatoes, and you can get toppings added if you like. We got the shrimp taquitos and we’re not disappointed. Plenty of big, juicy, flavorful tail-on shrimps cooked in garlic – yum! We also got the rib eye taco and fish taco – they ask if you’d like your rib eye medium rare or well done and we opted for medium rare but follow your heart of course! Delicious tacos and that fish taco was the best I’ve had in years! Both tacos were on fresh made tortillas, with the rib eye being presented on a beautiful blue corn tortilla. We were given an array of salsas and that orange habanero is no joke – delightful spice! The green was nice and mild but still delicious flavor.
Everything was awesome – including the folks working – we can’t wait to go back!

We came by for lunch today after having Tito’s at their other location a few weeks back and were happy we did.
In short: this is a great lunch spot in the North Portland area, and is especially a standout for Swan Island.
We had taquitos with shredded chicken, alongside a variety of their different tacos. Assuming you’re not looking for a super luxe lunch atmosphere, Tito’s is worth the visit!
To me, you don’t need too much from the physical space as long as it doesn’t take away from the meal… and I’d say that was true for us. Three stars may seem harsh for “Atmosphere” but the reality is we still had a solid four star experience overall.
The space is clean, the food is delicious, and the service was wonderful! They were incredibly kind, checked in on how we liked the food and even were quick to tidy up any tables that had recently opened up during the lunch rush.
Absolutely will be coming back for lunch again.
Pro Tip:
We actually almost didn’t see it because we expected to find a food truck like the other location. The restaurant is in fact inside the building—look for the red picnic benches to indicate where the front door is.

Absolutely the best Taquitos I have ever had. Is it a true Taquito? The inside is stuffed with potato and other ingredients. The meat is topped on the top of it with other fixings, delicious fresh corn tortita fried to perfection. I will be back and so will the other 3 that were with me. One of them was from Mexico and he gave them 5 star Taquitos rating, “Better than my wife’s but don’t tell her!” he said.

I think this is a great lunch place to grab a quick meal, but be forewarned that the value proposition is not the best. Got the potato taquitos with beef and overall was very pleased, but the price of $15 was a bit steep to me given the meal. Service was great and helped me with my questions. Inside is clean and looks good considering the industrial area it is in.
