I like the food here, it’s pretty good. I would rate it a 4.5 star place but it doesn’t give you that option. Only reason not a 5 is sometimes the asado and Chile is a little too hot to eat. Most of the times it’s good though. Definitely has friendly service in a nice homely feel to the atmosphere

The food is amazing. I go out of my way to eat there even if I have to drive 45 minutes out. Very friendly owner. A dedicated owner! You can tell Tonia thrives in her environment! The food always comes out warm. The waitresses are always making sure you are satisfied. A very friendly environment. No restaurant has ever satisfied me as much as Tonias Cafe does!

I ordered the chile verde and overmedium eggs. Eggs were cooked well, and the chile verde had a great flavor, but you could tell that the meat was cooked on a flattop grill, and the sauce was poured over it. The meat was tough and chewy.
