Chef Carrie and Jerry Bogar, owners of the award-winning Veya and Sandbar, absolutely knock it out of the park with their latest restaurant, Karaya—meaning “Moonlight” in Taíno-Arawak. We went twice for lunch and three times for dinner, and every meal was spectacular. Standout dishes included the grilled snapper, the cavatelli with clams, grilled crayfish and the charred octopus with white beans, lemon, garlic, and smoked paprika. The desserts were outstanding—we tried them all. Loved the live music. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive (special shout-out to Latoya and Taffari). We can’t wait to return.

We spent our last night in Anguilla at Karaya and had such a beautiful experience. The food was light and delicious, the ice cream was yummy, the drinks were fun and good. The service was great, and the setting was gorgeous! Definitely a top restaurant pick from our entire group. We will be back, just wish it could be sooner!

My husband and I ate at Karaya Restaurant in Anguilla, and it was an outstanding experience. The food was so delicious that you can tell the chef pays attention to every detail. My husband had the mahi-mahi, and I enjoyed the tuna entrée—both dishes were perfectly prepared and full of flavor. To finish, we shared the rum baba dessert, which is the best we’ve had on the island. Highly recommended!

Nice little lunch spot at West Shoal Bay. Great cocktail menu! The menu is decent, but you have to keep in mind that it’s an island and certain things just won’t be quite the same as on the mainland. The Caesar salad was quite good. We had the pesto pasta and the diavola pizza, which were both okay.

A very beautiful spot on Shoal Bay West with comp loungers and tables with purchase of lunch. It’s a great place to take in the view, eat, and swm. Fresh pasta, wonderful burgers, sandwiches…and they’ll make any drink into a frozen drink. Very sweet staff. I always feel at home here.

A true wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Chef Carrie and her team put on an absolute masterclass here. Ignore the handful of subpar reviews — this is a Michelin-level experience.

I didn’t catch everyone’s names, but the host team and waitstaff were outstanding. We had a few minor requests from the kitchen, and every one was handled elegantly and without any fuss.

The food is exceptional. I highly recommend the lobster cigar, the seared tuna, and especially the butter-poached lobster — an insane value for the amount of perfectly cooked lobster and fries you receive.

Thanks to the whole team.

Fantastic- Chef Carrie and the Karaya team put together an experience worthy of the incredibly beautiful beach on which it sits.

If you’re lucky enough to have Latoya taking care of you, just follow her advice and enjoy a menu where great care is taken with everything that hits the plate.

The drinks Alle prepares will not disappoint…try the za’tar margarita – you’ll thank me later.

When the wind is blowing from the east and the swell is coming from the north, there is just no better place to be…

This place is amazing – normally I would not do 5-Star but for the best and the authenticity of everyone working here and the vibe was unmatched. Family owned with everyone working there when we were there. We sat and ate/drank at the bar both times and Allessandro was our bartender and he obliged as I peppered him with questions, all the while serving up cocktails as fast as they could come in. He gave us a few great places to go, but the public/private beach that is right off the restaurant is picturesque and you can get your food and drink out to the beach. The food was fantastic – the Blackened Mahi Mahi Panini was a nice mixture of island cuisine but some good ‘ole Italian carbs and the Spaghetti Vongole with bottleneck clams and shrimp was delicious and fresh.

Would go here everyday and will be revisiting the next time we are in Anguilla.
