Honestly I don’t understand the bad reviews. My husband and I absolutely love their food and love supporting them. My favorite thing about this restaurant are the cold dishes. You seldom see restaurants with a cold dish bar like this these days. The restaurant is clean, it’s clearly a small family owned business that’s trying to keep it traditional, price is extremely reasonable and portions are GENEROUS. Not to mention the food is very very authentic and delicious. We don’t live nearby but a lot of family does, and when we’re around we only come here. This place is great for take out and dine in is always nice too, never a wait. We just love supporting them.

Unfortunately, there s a lot more bad things I could say about this place than good things. The food seems to be a little hit or miss. The Szechuan cold noodles aren’t very tasty and the texture isn’t great. The hard boiled egg is sitting on a bed of what I think is supposed to be a braised pork but smells fermented. And the most criminal of all is the rice. I’m not sure if I got the bottom of the rice cooker or if they just didn’t cook the rice well, but it was really clumpy and stuck together. I came at 12.
There are some good things though. The mapo tofu is pretty good. Most of the vegetables are also decent.

I love coming here in weekdays. Cold dish & wontons are good. If you work around and want to have some authentic Chinese food, just give it a try!

Appetizer combo is the only positive thing. Cooked food isn’t good – not even sure what they are trying to achieve. Not sure why this place is a restaurant vs just a counter service with appetizers to go.

We went to this place a day or two ago. For some reason the lady treat us with a very cold shoulder and acting like we owe her couple hundred dollars or something like that. The noodle were very soft tasted like been there for a few days. I think coup noodle probably tasted better than this place.
Never want to go back there.

We came to this place for dinner as our normal Chinese food place was closed. The food was horrible, cold didn’t even seem it was cooked on a wok, broccoli beef cold , big chunks of pork in fried rice, chicken chow mein had no flavor and I never seen peas and carrots in it before. Pork buns were flavorless. I paid 70.00 for 3 people and we didn’t finish our meal or even take home the left overs. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE…..

Great hole-in-the wall Chinese restaurant. When the customers are all Chinese, you know it’s fairly authentic. Best part of the restaurant is the cold dish bar where you can order cold appetizers (cold cuts and vegetables) for very cheap price ($6 for 2 meat and 1 vegetable combo). Beef pancake and noodles are also very good here. Definitely not a place you take your first date to, but it’s well worth visiting if you’re looking for a good value and fairly authentic Chinese restaurant to stuff your face.

The food is Certainly authentic and we usually get the plate of 3 appetizers for $4.50. Their beef noodle soup is good. A lot of their dishes carry a similar but classic Szechwan flavor so order wisely to avoid too many dishes with a similar taste

I haven’t tried their main dishes but their appetizers are so good! My fav is the pork ears, they’re truly the best in town. They cut their pork ears into super thin strips which made every bite covered in chili oil and easy to chew. This remains my top 1 pork ears in California even after I moved out of Cerritos. Soooo good!

Beef roll was pretty good. Not as good as northern cafe nearby. Good sized portions and good prices. Dan dan has the numbing spice smell and flavor. Fried three fresh noodle was okay. Kind of skimpy on the three but heavy on the noodle. Potstickers were ok. Good price but a bit slow on service as only one person tending the place.
