Cute little hot dog stand… I had the Chicago style hot dog which was delicious. The staff was very friendly. The decor is themed with music and food signs. There is an outdoor sitting area where you can bring your dogs to. Parking lot is shared with two other businesses.

Fun place, highly recommended. From Chicago, so we can authenticate the Chicago-style dogs from the celery salt to the bite on the dog. Love the Sprechers too. Nice touch. Great atmosphere, personnel are very friendly. We’ll be back. Next time, beef sammiches.

Being from the region, I love a good Chicago hotdog but living in central Indiana it’s not something one comes across with any regularity. And when you find it on the menu, it’s never what you remember. Until you find yourself in Monticello Indiana at Renee’s Chicago dogs. Wow. The dogs are genuine, the poppy seeded buns are the perfect texture, the dill spear, peppers, relish,mustard. Man I felt like Kurt Russell in backdraft. Great dog!
They gave me an Italian beef sample. Solid 9/10. Comes w peppers and au jux but just ask and they will do what you want. I also had an old timey root beer and creme soda. Perfect compliment to the dogs.
The diner has the 50s diner seats, booths, signage and they were even playing 50s songs.
Super friendly counter staff, perfectly clean, lots of food options… Oh and they have a dozen ice cream flavors with the real cones. It smells so good in here!

I made the 30 min drive from Lafayette to come try their Chicago Dogs and they didnt disappoint. The staff was super chill and friendly, my food was ready pretty quickly. The chicago dogs are amazing. They have good bun texture and a solid topping ratio. If youre in the area looking for a good chicago dog spot, this place is it! Come to Renee’s, they’ll hook you up

We ordered chili cheese fries, Italian beef bowl and a polish sausage and it was over $30. For the amount of food we had felt like we got totally scammed. Then we ate it and that’s when we knew for sure we got scammed. My polish sausage wasn’t warm and it was grainy, I don’t even think it was a polish sausage, sauerkraut was cold on it too. The beef bowl serving was kids menu size. The chili cheese fries were okay but my fries were almost burnt.

FANTASTIC Chicago dogs, with a subtle smokiness…offer a variety of dogs, snacks, and ice cream-AND desserts in the side room. Interior is a funky diner theme, great “date night” spot. I LITERALLY stop here every time I’m in town for work!!

I love her Chicago style hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches. For the price, you won’t find better around here. Well worth a try. The atmosphere in this little restaurant is very nice as well. The people that work here always seem to be very nice and happy to see you. All in all, this is a great little place.
