What a hidden little gem in Oxford. We were very surprised by the quality food options based on the very reasonable prices. The soup was homemade, which is a rarity in today’s restaurants. The sandwich portion size was just right. The word “tapenade” was on the sandwich menu? I will assure you will be pleasantly surprised by the many other fresh options. We will return just to try the other selections. If you want their homemade chocolates and desserts, get there early as the locals were coming in just to get those. Ride your motorcycle as there is plenty of free parking downtown and other places to walk and stretch your legs.

Just smashed every bit of food they gave us.. like just now. So freakin good. We got our food to go and it’s fresh.. it’s made to order.. it’s unique and homemade and amazing. We got the pastrami sandwich (slap yo momma good), side salad (amazing dressing and the freshest salad.. had already smashed half of it when I took the picture ) and the black eyed pea hummus pita topped with pickled onions and cucumbers (to die for)! Will definitely be back. They are a little short staffed but still moving quick. Show them some love and try it! You won’t be disappointed!

Kinda place you’ve probably driven by 50 times and not known its a restaurant kind of spot.
Very interesting menu. Clean inside with nice seating and out front. Try the Sherry Vinaigrette dressing, very good. Had a grilled cheese with just Cheddar and it hit the spot.

Very unique mom-n-pop type restaurant. I was not sure at first if this was the right place.
I like it, the food was good, and young staff was pleasant to deal with

Harvest has great options and unique food creation for a reasonable price. I had the distinct pleasure of trying their Grilled Chicken Wrap with Roasted Red Peppers, Spinach, Feta, and a House Balsamic Reduction ($7.75). This turned out to be an outstanding decision. I could taste all of the flavors with one not being overwhelming over the other flavors.
Highly satisfied and would definitely eat here again.

Visited yesterday for lunch on their patio. Our sandwiches were fresh and delicious and reasonably priced. We got the turkey cranberry sandwich and the chicken salad croissant. Even the type of chips they sell are so great! Remember to tip the kind young women taking your order at the front. They come around and refill drinks and delivered our food to our table. It was a really lovely time!

It is unfair to judge the atmosphere here because my issues were with the clientele and not the establishment. We were given beautiful southern hospitality. But we felt we went back to before the Civil Rights Movement as we were eyeballs like oddballs. I work my afrocarribean curls, and my son wore his afro. I’m not sure if that’s what made so many heads turn. We felt so unwanted, we didn’t sit to eat and ordered to go. Food was good, options were acceptable, prices were excellent.

Great lunch spot! This redtaurant supports local farmers! A solid menu plus interesting specials and the best soups! There is nothing like a sandwich and a cup of soup to warm you up on a cold winter day! Great vegetarian options available as well as home made sweets. The beer selection is good! If you’re in Oxford this is a must stop!

I have to recommend that you try this place! The wife and I tried it for the first time tonight for dinner. It is kind of a niche restaurant they are open for lunch weekdays, and dinner Friday and Saturday night. I would get reservations if your coming for dinner closer to the 6-7 PM. The menu does change week to week depending on what they can get fresh from local farms. We found the place and the staff to be warm and inviting. We came a little later, they stop seating at 830 PM for dinner. It wasn’t too crowded. But we still made reservations, they said they are busiest from 5-730 PM. We had fried green tomatoes for an appetizer, OH My God, I have had these before in many other places and a few times on my own. They were so good I just wanted more of them skip dinner. They came with a slightly spicy southwestern creamy sauce. For dinner I had the sword fish on a bed of sweet corn succotash with speckled butter beans and turnips infused with crispy country ham. very tasty and was a surprisingly fantastic match to the fish. for desert I had the chocolate gnash with raspberry sauce. It was light and creamy but heavy and rich all at the same time. this was an excellent meal. They were serving 5 entrees were between 18 band 22 dollars. They did have a vegetarian choice, most places, the vegetarian choices can seem like something they just threw on there as an after thought. I strongly considered that entree even though I’m an avid carnivore, it look delicious. They also had an alluring selection of micro brew beers and wine to complement the menu in addition to the usual tea, coffee, and soft drinks. The wife and I got out for around 80 bucks I had several of the more expensive micro brew beers though. Well worth the drive in my book. I hear they have a very good lunch as well although I haven’t tried it. Look forward to going back next week I think.
