So we decided to get their Beef Brisket , bean, coleslaw and corn bread. Everything was fantastic. Juicy and savory brisket. The beans are a meal unto their own. Their slaw is well done and fresh. They have this location and one in Marion. They are originally based in Galion ohio and they make their own sauces. This is worth the drive even an hour away.

OMG!!! We were in town from Delaware & knew we had to try this out. It really made me sad I hadn’t came sooner!
We got 2 orders of the smoked bourbon chicken, baked beans, corn bread, and a pulled pork sammich. Didn’t get a pic of it all cause ‘someone’ couldn’t wait to start munching down!!
That chicken and rice with the orange teriyaki sauce…HOLY MOLY! Good, healthy option, and delicious! Definitely coming back for that. Plus I am dying to try all the sauces!
Talking to the owner, you could really tell his passion for what they do. He was very helpful & described everything we was interested in, asked question to help us decide for the first time.
We called and had our food ready in a matter of 10ish minutes right before they were due to close. That’s service!
Can’t wait to come back in future! My husband’s only complaint was cornbread was dry but I figured it was so late in the day, it happens. I also would LOVE if they offered like a little dessert-banana pudding cups or something simple!

Amazing food. The baked beans were so good, I could have eaten just them for dinner. The bourbon chicken and rice had such a great flavor and the cornbread just topped off the fantastic meal. I can not wait to eat their food again. Mt. Gilead is lucky to have them here and I’m excited they’re here as well. Good job guys!!!

We were so glad to have a local place to enjoy after church on Sunday, and it even has a small eating area. We tried a little bit of everything and loved it all. The bourbon chicken with blackberry sauce was delicious. All the sauces were unique and tasty.

Called in and asked that they hold a full rack tonight. They were running out fast!
Hubby and I used to have Damons ribs for our anniversary until they closed. We will be getting ribs from The EDS Sauce Guys to celebrate!
