Lived in Louisiana my whole life and this hands down is the best crawfish I’ve ever had. My boyfriend from Lafayette bragged all year about it and he was right. They even have different spice levels (personally recommend HOT)!! They normally are a good size with some big and small ones mixed in. The fresh buttery mince garlic is a wonderful touch, too.
PS: The staff is always professional and courteous. The owner, Jon, always says hello (personal touch) and makes sure to check the quality of his product (and 8 times out of 10 it HITS).
I’m sad it’s the end of the season and it is closing. However, looking forward to next year for MORE!!

Went pick up boat from mechanic in Lafayette and saw this place last minute, never knew it was there and stopped got 10lbs craw and 1lb shrimp. It was fiya! Clean crawfish! Juicy and seasoned well. Shorted weight last 2 times ordered 5# crawfish from them. Only rec’d 4# including weight of the 2 potatoes received 🙁 By shorting my orders I basically was over charged ~$6 from each of my last 2 orders! If the customer is ONLY shorted 1# out of #5 they paid for, most customers prob aren’t going to realize they didn’t receive the full #5s they paid for unless they weight it when received; which enables Crawfish Pot to overcharge their customers an extra ~$6 on each pickup #5 boiled crawfish order! It appears the extra $6 they are making off every 5# takeout order is worth more to them than the future business of the customers they will have lost when they realize they have been paying for #5 but only receiving #4 or less! They’ve definitely lost my future business!

Line was a little long but that was too be expected. I’m from Florida and this is only my 3rd time eating them since I’ve been here and The Crawfish Pot has been the best I’ve had yet. They were really friendly and the Crawfish was absolutely delicious!! I will definitely be back. Anyone looking for some delicious finger licking Crawfish I highly recommend the Crawfish Pot.

Most of our crawfish was cold to lukewarm. We live in the neighborhood right by this place so I know it wasn’t from travel time. We called to see if they had ready to pickup crawfish and they said “no we boil per order” which was a lie. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. We ordered two 5lb bags and a 3 pound bag. Stay away from this place
