Great breakfast food. This is the best breakfast place in the Pleasant View Area. I highly recommend their breakfast burrito and the grits are really good too. Breakfast here is also pretty inexpensive.

My family visits the diner twice a week or so. The staff and owner always stop by the table and say hi, ask us how we’re doing. Most importantly they are always super nice and understanding towards my toddler.
The food and pricing is exceptional and I love the family atmosphere. Its the kind of place you can eat, relax, and take a load off.

The breakfast potatoes are amazing! Order was perfect. Owner came out and talked to us, refilled coffee, and was very polite. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Will be going back! Especially to try the burgers he told us about!

I have been disappointed all the times we’ve eaten here. The food seems way over priced. They’re nice enough people but they’re no Village Diner.
I miss the fried pickles and milkshakes from the Village Diner that was there before this place moved in. Those pickles were the best I have ever had.
At least they have fried green tomatoes, even if they are expensive, nobody else in Pleasant View has them.
They are dog friendly on the outside tables so they have that going for them.

Our waitress was Allison and she was very sweet and friendly!! I didn’t catch the owner’s name but he was very kind, and gave us a free sample of the hashbrown casserole. I had the breakfast bowl and biscuits and gravy and it was all delicious, excellent biscuits! We make the drive from Florida to Kansas twice a year and I can guarantee from now on we will be making sure to stop here each time! Good, down to earth people and great food!!

Had been there for lunch once and it was really good. Went there today for breakfast, not so good. Ordered the fried steak & eggs. Steak was great, eggs cold, home fries(which really was tater tots & not home fries) cold, biscuits and gravy cold. Manager made good on biscuits & gravy. Turned down the fries. If all the food would have been hot or even warm it would have been a great breakfast.

Great service. Wonderful family style restaurant with friendly and welcoming staff and owners. We drove 24 miles because the food and hospitality are above that of any chain and most small businesses in or local community. Food was delicious and prepared as ordered. We will definitely return.

Just had dinner there tonight and wanted to let you know the ribs were very good. My wife had the beef ribs and the flavor was great but maybe they could of been cooked just a bit more to make them slightly more tender. Still delicious. I had the pork ribs. Perfect. Also wanted to commend you on changing the cheese in the Mac and cheese. It’s 10 times better. Also had the white gravy on my mashed taters. Can’t imagine how anybody could knock the gravy. It’s not the average ol gravy which makes it what it is. Thumbs up. By the way, our server was fantastic! Thanks for listening to suggestions and consistently improving. See you next time.

My family ordered online for takeout tonight and we are very happy with our experience. When my son got home with the food, we discovered that we were missing an order of coleslaw and the grilled onions and peppers on one of the sandwiches. I called the diner and they were very polite and helpful. I went to the restaurant to pick up the missing items and they had them ready for me when I got there (even though it turned out that I didn’t actually click “add grilled onions and peppers” to the sandwich, so that omission was totally my fault), and they gave us a free dessert too! The food was very good and we will definitely be back!

My wife and I had dinner tonight, I had the absolute best catfish I have ever eaten. She had the special of the day, chicken and pasta, and said it was fabulous.I have visited here on several occasions and always enjoyed superb food and service. I also recommend their breakfast, especially the french toast.
