We came off the lake from fishing and stopped by The Rambler. We didnt realize they closed at 130 and stopped by about 2. The owner and her worker were so kind and made us lunch anyways! I’d recommend to anyone!!!

I love the food and have been coming here for almost 3 years; however, being a 40 plus year old women I was treated like a child because I asked for a chicken thigh at the food bar. Which is what I normally get. I was told by the owner that I cannot be picky when I eat here. Never had a problem before and if I was given the food for free then I would expect that kind of comment. I was a PAYING CUSTOMER. I was also asked if I wanted another thigh so as to not go “digging around” for one if I went back up to the food bar. If I were to speak to my customers like that I would have been fired! I never got that treatment here before. Sorry, but they lost 2 faithful, paying customers today. Were heading to Pizza Ranch for chicken!

Food was good, but we had heard it was a great place to eat, We came from Montana for a funeral and few of us went came to Alice cedar inn to eat. We were very disappointed in the automatic gratuity. As a matter of fact our group of people were as well disappointed about the gratuity. We will pass that along to others. A tip should be a choice, as it is based in our opinion of how well the service is . Which our waitress should get the whole gratuity because she was phenomenal waitress.

Ordered our food and then noticed the smell of cigarettes. Sure enough, two people smoking. Brought it to waitresses attention, she said it’s the owner and it’s her place!! Canceled our order and left.
