I visited Koi Sushi Bar on a Saturday after viewing some nearby apartments. The restaurant is located upstairs in a secured area near where the Knight Market is usually held. I was seated outside at first but directed inside, which was cozy and nicely set up.
I ordered two signature rolls — one fried shrimp (or another shellfish) roll with cream cheese and the Dragon Roll. The fried roll was just okay, as I could taste a bit of oil, but overall, both rolls were enjoyable. The lychee martini was outstanding — definitely a highlight of the meal.
The service was attentive and friendly, and my food came out promptly. One roll arrived before the others, so I started with that while waiting for my miso soup. The total came to about $13,000 JMD (including gratuity), and I added another $1,000 tip, bringing it to roughly $14,000 JMD or around USD $90.
Overall, I’d rate the experience 3.5 to 4 stars. The food was fresh and well-presented, though a bit pricey. Next time, I’d like to try the sashimi.

I am korean and It was the best roll sushi I’ve had in Jamaica.
The server was very friendly as well.
However, the food took quite a long time to come out.
Also, the drink menu wasn’t on Google reviews, so I took a picture of it myself.

Probably my favorite spot for sushi in town. Honestly I have never had a bad meal here. Everything I have tried was great. The Saki Salmon, Geisha, Dancing Eel and Spicy Tuna rolls are all solid. Add in the yuzu and lychee lemonades plus a cold Asahi and you really cannot go wrong.
We are usually served by the same guy, Nick, which makes a big difference. It keeps the place feeling relaxed and personal rather than overly commercial. He knows the menu inside out and that always helps, especially when you are deciding what to try next.

My experience was OK. We ate downstairs. The patrons upstairs were loud and boisterous. Our server seemed like he was new. The portions for the price was astronomical. It wasn’t a bad experience, but I honestly was not wowed! I left hungry after spending so much money very disappointed. 7/10

Amazing sushi. Restaurant is small, but cozy and comfortable. Perfect for two or a small group. Servers were attentive and conversational, which I appreciate. You will rack up a hefty bill though, so be prepared.

Crispy calamari was good.
Size of sushi roll left me wanting more, I’m guessing that was the point .
Service was exceptional. Food took a little while to arrive, they could do with a few more staff.

The Yellowtail Katsu isn’t listed on the menu so you’ll have to ask for that. Perfect balance of cream cheese, crab sticks and the fish. The Kabuki roll was great as well. Their Lycheeni has to be the best Lychee martini I’ve ever had. Not sugary or syrupy, actually tastes like liquor. Monkitail was good as well. The Origami I feel everyone should try. The jalapeño gives it a hint of salsa cheese taste but the faint ginger taste complements it good. The beef fillet was a bit inconsistent as some of the pieces weren’t medium well as ordered. The surface of the meat felt tough as well. Don’t order this well done. The sauce added with it was very strong till it overshadowed the fillet. Not my favorite. Overall I’d definitely go back for sushi and drinks. Didn’t get to try some of their menu items like the lobster spring roll or crispy rice as they weren’t available so I can’t comment on those… but it’s good

Solid sushi, solid service, and overall a great dining experience!
A small, sophisticated spot for sushi. I would highly recommend it for a date or intimate dinner. The service is top tier and the food was quality.

Saying the place is amazing is cutting short of the experience. The waiter was very welcoming and knowledgeable especially to teach how to use chop sticks. The highlight of the evening was dessert where the ice cream was the star of the show. It was so good I can’t even show the picture (I don’t have it ).

LOVED this place. Firstly, the manager is very attentive and he actually cares about how the food is served, prepared and if its enjoyed.
On my first visit, I had the Miso Soup and the Kabuki (double fried shrimp roll) with a tokyo mule. My partner had the Kai Poke bowl and a lemonade. On my second visit, I had to have the Kabuki again but I tried the California Roll and the edamame.
Everything was prepared fresh and the pop of avocado was so good. I recommend this spot to anyone trying to enjoy a quiet evening with something new and healthy. There was a loud group of 10 females when I had stopped by the second time but I didn’t let them ruin the experience. Definitely going back for more trys!!
