Absolutely amazing!! The food is seasoned beyond belief! The chicken shwerma (sp) plate was heaven on earth with the seasoned chicken, the yellow rice, and the fantastic house salad! It’s like eating at home with family!! Cannot say enough great things about the “dining experience” except to say I can’t wait to come in again! Thank you!!

This place is outstanding! Live here and saw this new restaurant (open 3 months) after the ‘tit Rex parade. So glad we came in! Carlos was our bartender AND server. They were packed post parade but he nailed it. No extra wait time far as I could tell, for acknowledgment, drinks or food. Certainly more attentive and efficient than the plethora of restaurants I’ve visited anywhere in range of a parade! The food is OUTSTANDING, price aside, but in a blind taste test I’d very likely choose this food over saba or shaya. And again, we came in post Mardi Gras parade, their first Mardi Gras in business, so no history to plan for guest traffic patterns or vendor order necessities. So if this is them at their worst, I’m completely blown away. Open and food available till 10. I can’t wait to come back! And I’m quite picky for which I entirely blame our delicious city 🙂 thank you again Carlos!!!

Lebanon Restaurant & Grill is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and the comforting aroma of authentic Lebanese flavors. The food is consistently outstanding—perfectly seasoned, fresh, and clearly made with care. Every bite feels homemade, from the tender, juicy meats to the flavorful sides and freshly baked bread.
What really sets this place apart is the balance of quality and authenticity. The flavors are rich without being overwhelming, and everything tastes clean, fresh, and satisfying. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the service makes you feel like family.

Whenever I travel, I like to see how different parts of the country handle their Middle Eastern food. New Orleans gave the chicken shawarma that nice twist on the spice that I was hoping for. The pieces of chicken were thicker than I’m used to coming off a spit, but that’s fine. There was a white sauce, but I’m not sure what it was. It didn’t taste like tahini or tzatziki, but it did have a little kick to it. I didn’t get the hummus as a side, but next time I think the shawarma would definitely benefit from having that mixed in. All said and done, if you’re in the area definitely check it out.
Oh, and whatever homemade dressing they use on the salad was excellent.
