My husband and I are from New York and decided to try out this spot. Our server was Jordan and she was legitimatelyTHE BEST. She was so beyond wonderful and had my husband and I smiling and laughing the entire time. That girl deserves a raise. Actually, promote her to manager!! She made the entire experience fantastic (and the food was delicious too) but Jordan was definitely the star of the show. If we’re ever in this area again we’ll absolutely be coming back!! 10/10

Stopped in here on our way home in Arkansas from a holiday trip in Alabama. The food was superb and the service was good too. Great place to stop for a good meal. I had the chicken Alfredo and my husband had a big platter breakfast. It’s more food than I could eat. This will be our new stop on the way home from Alabama.

We had a young lady as our waitress! She was awesome and the food came quick. We had 3 home style meals with all the eggs different styles, biscuit and gravy combo meal & a funny face with sausage and it was all FRESH & the atmosphere was amazing! I tipped the waitress the bill due to my mamas heavenly birthday and giving to who my heart feels deserves it! she was more then grateful! We need more places like this hidden gem around, we are from another state and plan to come back on our way back home in a few days! Thanks!

I wish I could give 0 stars because this was by far the WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED I ordered chicken and waffles and what i got was chicken fingers and a flat waffle so I asked the server could I order something else and I ordered the pancake combination which came with 3 pancakes eggs a sausage and 2 pieces of bacon and the sausage was VERY SALTY and the bacon was wrapped up like a ball and to make matters worse a guy whom I assumed was the manager came out and asked who was going to pay for the chicken fingers like u expect me to pay for something that I clearly didn’t order he was VERY RUDE and I will NEVER come back!!!!!

We stopped in on our way to Starkville. We decided to stop here because they serve their entire menu all day.
I got the turkey club with fresh, homemade fries. 10/10, It wasn’t thin deli turkey, it was nice and thick!
My husband got the ribeye, 2 egg combo. He said it was tender and seasoned perfectly. No steak sauce needed. My kids got the pancakes, they devoured them.
Our waitress and everyone else, was super friendly.
We did have to wait for a table, but it wasn’t that long of a wait and our food came out hot and FAST!

We visit OHT every Sunday before church. There are many reasons why we keep coming back. The food is great, the restaurant is inviting, and best of all the service is top notch. Lindsey is our favorite server! We know about her family and she makes US feel like family. If you’re ever in the area make it a priority to stop at Our Hometown!
