Absolutely Delicious! Is he short staffed? Yes Will you possibly have to wait just a few minutes to be acknowledged and order taken? Quite possibly Is it worth it? 100%! He is a mastermind with his taco craft & we hope he stays up and running so that we can return each trip to Blue Ridge. Great atmosphere and phenomenal tacos!

Outstanding tacos for the patient and small party. Sat on dog-friendly patio on a pleasant day. When we came on a Sunday at noon, there was only the owner-operator there, and we got the impression it was typical. He hauled buns to take orders, cook, food run, etc all on his own. It took longer than we had planned for a lunch stop, but it was worth it. Pork belly taco was excellent. Korean BBQ was worth the high taco price point ($9, all other tacos were $5-$6). The chicken was well marinated and flavorful. If you have time to spare, and can come off-peak mealtime, this is 1000% worth the stop.

My wife and I popped into OscarChili’s based on a recommendation from a couple we met while hiking. Best food we ate while in the Blue Ridge/Ellijay area. We started with the salsa and chips best salsa I have eaten. Order 4 tacos: Regular Taco, Adobo Chicken, Shrimp and Koren BBQ. All were exceptional and we couldn’t nail down a favorite since they were all so good! Had the rice and beans and that too was great. The food was very fresh and all ingredients were awesome. The owner is the only employee so don’t be in a rush it is more than worth the wait. I can not stress how darn good everything was!

Well almost didn’t visit here but we are so glad we did. The food was beyond amazing and the service was great. It’s a one man show (or was when we visited) so that may have meant a wait but it was well worth it. Ingredients were fresh and the flavor combos were so good. We had the Korean bulgogi and Sticky veggie tacos as well as a traditional ground beef. We will definitely be back if we are in the area again. The vibe and food are on point.

SUCH GOOD FOOD! My husband and I are beyond impressed. We were just passing through the town and this place popped up with such good reviews, and I can see why! The food was perfectly cooked and the flavor was unmatched! Plus the scenery in the restaurant was adorable! The food was very fresh and authentic, you could tell it wasn’t processed or from a can. And best of all, you don’t leave feeling sick and bloated like most other Mexican restaurants! This is a one man show, and he is doing a fine job at it!! We rate this place 10/10 for sure!!!

I was venturing into the unknown, and I must say it was a good venture. This place is amazing. The food is amazing. This one man show is worth a stop and take a look! I know that this has had a lot of views and I just wanted to let everyone know that just because it says Tuesday they are open on the Internet does not mean they are open as they are not open. There’s a sign on the door that says open Wednesday to Sunday 12PM-3PM. So don’t do what I did and drive out there in anticipation for the letdown on a Tuesday. OK, so I was really excited yesterday when I got here and then I realize they’re not open but today I am here at 12:15 and again it is not open although it does say 12 to 3 on the door. I’ll let you know something when I figure out what’s up.
OK so there’s a note on the door a new one and it says open this week Thursday to Sunday 12 o’clock to 3 PM. This note was posted After I left at 12:15 and it is now 12:45. At least we know.
Kind of disappointed again. I guess I wouldn’t be as disappointed if it wasn’t so good.

North of South is an Asian / Southwestern cross between fair that works very well. I had the Pork Belly Bowl which was wonderful. This establishment is very clean and the staff is accommodating. I’ll eat here again soon to try some of the other menu items. Congratulations on your 100A Food Service Inspection.

My husband and I were staying nearby for a few days and found this unique gem. The owner was very honest and informative with us regarding his one man operation (which we admire). We sat at their dog friendly patio with our pup Rosie to enjoy the meal. Restaurant was very cozy with cheerful decor. We ordered a few of the tacos and we were completely blown away! Tacos were so delicious and packed with flavor. We even returned again to enjoy these delightful treats some more before heading back home. We certainly hope you get out to try them!!

I ordered at least one of every taco on the menu. Unfortunately they were out of pork belly and brisket. As a fat guy that eats a lot of tacos, I can honestly say these were the best gourmet tacos I’ve had in a long time. Absolutely fabulous, with the Korean BBQ and Curry Chicken particularly great. Great attention to detail too, salsa, black beans and guacamole were awesome also.
