First time at Akira Hibachi and Sushi. It was positively magnificent! Very tasty and beautifully presented. Inside the restaurant is small and intimate, but reminiscent of small eateries in Japan. Food was very. VERY nicely seasoned and served in nice portion sizes. At our table we had hibachi steak with fried rice, hibachi vegetables with fried rice, hibachi salmon with yakisoba noodles, and a spicy tuna roll. Appetizers of dumplings, egg rolls. Staff was really pleasant and gracious. Restaurant was very clean and nicely appointed. We will definitely be back! Thanks!

I went here for lunch and the food was exceptional! I enjoyed the laid back acoustic music they had going and the cashier was very nice and helpful with the menu. The food came quickly and was absolutely delicious, very tasty and generous portions. I got the lunch special and can’t wait to try the sushi when I go back. Wonderful place!

New place in my neighborhood!!!
I visited Akira Hibachi and Sushi with my family today and was blown away! Every dish was packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and super fresh. The sushi rolls were especially impressive-fresh especially Xoxo and Yummy roll, delicious, and clearly made with care. I also tried the hibachi, and it was cooked perfectly with generous portions and great seasoning.
The staff were so nice and giving as miso soup as complimentary for lunch . The restaurant was clean, modern, and had a nice relaxed vibe. If you’re in Fayetteville and craving sushi or hibachi, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back!

Wow just so good!! If you like Meiji this is very close to that style of fried rice and steak/chicken. The serving size was so large it easily fed me for two meals.
I could very easily see them moving into a larger place soon, the dining room was packed on a Wednesday.

This place is sooo good!!!! I usually order ahead and pick up in their drive thru. I had their habachi chicken and vegetable plate and went back to try their spicy salmon roll. Always a 10/10. They give big portions. Also, don’t get me started with their yum yum sauce!

The food was some of the best sushi and habachi I’ve had. This small, unassuming sushi spot with a drive thru, is placed next to a Goodwill donation spot. Now that in itself throws up a redflag for me. Boy was I wrong. The food was very reasonably portioned for big eaters, and the price was very reasonable.
My only nitpick was the seating and the parking. But they make do with what they have, and I have respect for that. Definitely worth it for me and I’m excited to come back to town for more.

Tried this place for the first time and the sushi was amazing — fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The rolls were packed and beautifully made. Gyoza and miso soup were also great. Reasonable prices and friendly service. Will definitely be back!

AMAZING. We have eaten here twice in three days (with no regrets). On Friday we got the Yakisoba steak, steak fried rice, an eel roll, and the Gyoza. Today we swung through the drive through and got a shrimp tempura roll and an Xoxo roll – I think the Xoxo is my new favorite. Love love love and we will defiantly be back. I do wish that they had their raw rolls labeled on the menu but they don’t loose any points because the staff is SO nice and will answer your questions.

Had a great experience at this new place! Took over where Eureka Pizza used to be and feels very clean and peaceful inside. They had quick service and a drive thru if you want some quick take out hibachi.
Tried their shrimp tempura, California Roll, and chicken teriyaki hibachi. They gave us complementary miso soup and the food was very good. I can see myself visiting this place for some quick Japanese food a lot in the future.

Much needed East Fayetteville sushi/hibachi option. No need to spend an exorbitant, wait an hour, have a fussy waitress, and have one in your party not receive their order like Meiji. Oh and it’s MUCH better.
Tokyo House beware!
