FINALLY!!!!!! I made it into Gatto’s Family Deli YAY!
I know everyone in my feed has raved & now it was our turn to try this amazing-ness! We did a little taste test spree to try various items
So lets start!
First: The Tuscan sammy……..good Lord there must be 2 pounds of meat! Thin sliced mortadella, burrata, house pesto & pistachios on their homemade bread baked fresh this morning! TO DIE FOR! I placed the butter dish next to it to show you the height of this baby!
Pizza: White pizza with bacon and a slice of traditional cheese…so crispy and fresh!!!
From the ready-to-go deli case:
Sweet Italian sausage with peppers & onions that literally took me back to my childhood in NY. My mom LOVED this
Hot & ready Lentil, sausage & broccoli Raub soup- exactly what I am eating in its entirety as I type. I am a huge soup snob growing up in snowstorms & this is the real deal!
Seafood salad: NOT FROM A BAG! So very fresh & flavorful- I cant wait to eat it all, definitely a FAV!!!!
Antipasti salad: Again, fresh & full of the perfect mix of ingredients- My mom was in her glory.
Last but not least: Beet salad with goat cheese, I am not a beet person- one of the few things I haven’t yet grown a pallet for but my mom is obsessed and says it’s absolutely wonderful and light!
I am beyond satisfied as is my daughter and mother (a 78-yr old Italian who will critique down to the sprinkle of garlic lol)
Don’t walk, run! Supplies are until they are sold out in many cases; which is great in my opinion because you know that it is fresh daily and made with love and care!
WE WILL BE REGULARS!! Buon appetito!

OK, I just discovered this new jewel in Edgewater and New Smyna beach, what a find! Stopped in today at lunch and picked up a meatball sub that was delicious, just had their stuffed peppers with short rib, rice, cheese and tomato sauce on the side, outstanding! Had a loaf of their homemade bread and two Pizza slices that were perfect, not over sauced, outstanding crust. Edgewater, New Smyrna, Oak Hill y’all are lucky! John and Sally

Hands down the best pizza I’ve had since I’ve been back to New York. You will not find a pizza like this 3 cities north or south of this place. I’m a second generation Italian American and if my father was still around to taste this pizza he would have been extremely happy. Pizza and Italian food in general has been going down hill around here as people have taken over their families restaurants. This place is a breath of fresh air. I got a 16” pie with vodka sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, pepperoni and fresh basil with hot honey drizzled over the top. I also got a vodka chicken parm.

The best chicken vodka parm that you’re going to find in the area! Amazing, fresh-baked bread with a nice crispy crust, thick pieces of tender chicken, lots of melty cheese, and the vodka sauce is full of flavor!! Just make sure you’re aware the restaurant is all counter service with no dining room. I didn’t know this when I went and wound up having to eat standing by the trunk of my car. Definitely still worth it though!

The hours: Glad they extended some of the days.
Would recommend the Eggplant Parmesan, the Tiramisu, the Pesto Pasta Salad. The pizza bread was soft and chewy in a good way. Pepperoni and cheese were layered nicely.

This is the best pizza I have had in NSB. The guys behind the counter were so nice. Traditional Italian/New York style pizza and so flavorful. The meatballs are so tender.

OK, so I finally got to try this place and I gotta tell you what it blew my mind. The guys are so nice and the food was incredible. The pizza was outrageous and I tried the eggplant Parmesan homemade bread and some sausage peppers and onions. This is definitely a go to place and you have to check it out and an Italian American from New York. It definitely hits home. Thanks for bringing great food to our community

I had the pleasure of eating here after delivering to this place. I have never had such an amazing slice of pizza. I love pizza! But this place?! It’s the real deal! Franco, and the other two associates I’ve met are so nice and gave me a slice. Definitely bringing my family here, so they can taste the awesomeness and see the rest of the menu.
