Been going here regularly for a while now. The food is fantastic, some of the best fish and shrimp I’ve ever had. Service is great and they are always friendly. Maybe I have just been lucky but there is always seating available, and they’re very quick to get your order out, even when they are busy. Prices are good and you get a lot of food for your money. Definitely check them out, I highly recommend getting fried shrimp!

Fresh food excellently prepared! We enjoyed the onion rings, haddock and scallops with a light batter that didn’t overwhelm! The scallops were moist and delicious and the haddock tasted as fresh as if it had been caught that day! Also enjoyed the fish stew with a very light savory tomato base broth. If you haven’t been you must go! Service also excellent.

We tried this restaurant because of the reviews, but sad to say we’re not impressed. The best part of our visit was our waitress named Abby. She was fantastic. Unfortunately, the chowder is very thin which some people like. (We do not). The cole slaw was not good, the sweet potato fries were overdone, and the mixed drinks left something to be desired. I will say that the Haddock was tasty as were the onion rings. Overall though we both felt that it was not worth the price paid. We will not be returning anytime soon. I am personally disappointed because I have fond memories of the original Charlie’s in Brant Rock.

Slightly below average service and pretty awful food. I had the clam chowder which was decent. My main course was the popcorn shrimp/halibut nugget combo. The shrimp were flavorless. I would not eat this food again and could never recommend this restaurant based on my experience this evening. This is the 3rd review I have ever written – it takes a lot to motivate me to write one.

The batter recipe is awesome! It brought me back to Brant Rock with my Nani ❤ loved the table with the chalk!!! I tried fried pickles and they were great!!! Can’t wait to go back again. The food and drinks were phenomenal!!! Beautiful restaurant, great staff, wonderful dining experience!!!

I’d go so far as to say that Charlie’s too has the best fried class at the best price around. I get the clam strip basket every time I go and they never disappoint; their clams are even good reheated! Excellent job keep up the great work, 5/5 will always recommend

Kids meal is $12.99 not including drinks? Come on. We ordered two kids meal chicken nuggets. One came with two medium sized tenders and one small piece barely qualifying as a nugget, and my other son’s plate has two slightly larger pieces than his brothers. A handful of fries. $12.99. I don’t think I ever pay this even for adult meals. Now they didn’t exactly ordered fountain sodas so I can’t tell for sure if fountain sodas were included, but we were also charged $3.50 for a Shirley temple and $2.50 for root beer for the kids.
Our meal was decent I guess but caesar salad was not romaine lettuce. Tasted fine, just not my favorite. If I wanted greens I would’ve ordered mixed greens.
I also wanted the “salad to start” and was promptly told “we’re doing everything together right now”. So my meal and salad had to Come Out at the same time. Why again….?
We’re definitely never going back.

Very good seafood, clam chowder is a thinner base and delicious! Great local place with excellent service and the owners Peter and Jim are the best. Very Welcoming and clean. Love the chalk board for daily specials.

Went to a memorial service today and it worked out great. Peter one of the owners got everyone drinks and meals while we all visited. My fish and Fries were excellent. I have eaten regular there over the years. A great experience.
