Ate here on a Tuesday during lunch. No wait. Service was quick and food was good. Had the lunch special burger steak with green beans mashed potatoes, zuccini squash, and roll all for $13.

Passed by this place 100 times. Decided to stop on sat 02/21. My husband and I got the big seafood platter. Everything was good until
He ate the scallops and immediately knew they had gone rancid. It made his immediately sick. The waitress who was very nice asked the cook to “check on the scallops” who then said yeah they were bad and threw whatever they had back in the kitchen away and they offered to make us a fresh batch. We kindly refused and the waitress apologized and offered to comp us our drinks. We will never eat there again. It is irresponsible to serve rancid food at a restaurant. You should keep your items fresh and check on it when you cook them.

This has to be the worst tasting seafood restaurant I’ve ever been. When you order fried catfish you expect a nice golden crisp fillet seasoned and tasty delicious. Mine came out just skinned with all the bones and no flavor at all. The shrimp were hard and had freezer flavor.
The only good thing I had here was my Arnold Palmer. I do not recommend this place. And it was overpriced. Watch out for the flies.

No, that we’ve been out traveling and we’re looking for a place to have lunch. Saw this on Google with good reviews, looked a little sketchy walking in, but it was certainly worth the effort. The food was really good. Can’t think we have the hamburger, fish sandwich, a chef salad and a chicken salad. Everything was prepared very well. The weight staff was very friendly. This is a very nice place.

To be honest I eat at Sandra’s today for lunch for the first time and had the chicken fingers and chips. It was delicious. I found myself scanning their menu for dinner. My husband ordered the shrimp and scallops I had to order the chicken and chips again. Yes it was that good. The seafood was very good and of course the chicken was excellent. All I can say is Carey Hilliard’s watch out Sandra’s seafood is here.

Definitely not a Traditional 5 Star dining experience but hands down the BEST Seafood in the area. I will not come through the area without stopping by and getting the Large Fried Shrimp and Scallops with Potato Salad and Tossed Salad as my sides. The Staff is always Friendly. I would recommend 10/10!!!

My first time to Sandra’s.
The staff were friendly.
The fried shrimp were really good but the Cajun grilled flounder was not good at all…it still had the skin on it. I can’t say it wasn’t flounder but of all the flounder I have had….that wasnt it.
Like I said, the staff were friendly but the waitress didn’t come back to my table until I was pretty much finished and she asked how the food was. I told her the flounder was not good but the shrimp were great…..normally you get an apology and / or would you like something else?….her response, I told you the oysters are from apalacha cola and they are really good too. (She said that about the shrimp)
When I got to the register, there was a young girl.. she asked, how was your food? I said I didn’t care for the flounder but the shrimp were really good. She shrugged her shoulders and said…some people don’t like stuff.
I am not complaining….I am making note that the staff is friendly and too the point. It’s a small business who knows the community.
I will most likely be back for the shrimp. As far as the flounder goes, I will pass.

Absolutely loved this little “out of the way” Diner. I had the scallops and my wife had the fried shrimp and both were awesome. It’s only 2 miles off of HWY 16 and is well worth the trip. Service and Food are great!! Me
