Very nice cook. Food thou not so much. Ribs chewy and need flavor. Sausage not good. Won’t be back. This was my 2nt try.

I thought my sister cooked the best brisket one could hope for but his gentleman nails it and is the best. He also has pull pork, smoked chicken and sausage. He’s across from Walgreens on the hill and it is definitely causal dining. He serves out if a train car, a caboose I believe, and has a picnic table you can eat at or sit while you wait for your order. I try and go there at least once a month! Next time I go by I will try to remember and post a picture.

I consider myself a BBQ expert. Last Sunday, September 2, 2018, my wife and I tried Lone Star BBQ for the first time. We had sliced brisket sandwiches and smoked boudain.
It is probably the best we have ever eaten. Please give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
As an added bonus, the man was super friendly.

We went to Lone Star BBQ after eating at city cafe(great burgers). I had my hubby stop for some smoked boudain and it was DELICIOUS!!! OMG!! they are a good size. Ate them until we got home. Now I regret buying four links. I will be back!! From Humble TX.

Very casual outdoor eating establishment. Food is very tasty. Smoked meats prepared on site. Server/Cook is friendly. Definitely try again. Although adjacent to streets, the location is on a hill above traffic.
