Don’t let anyone fool you, these donuts taste like vomit. It used to be great, but not anymore. I have never been more disappointed in a donut shop. Tired of wasting my money here. Won’t be going back.

Firstly, the staff member who assisted me was quite rude and inattentive. Her attitude came across as arrogant and unprofessional, which left a very unpleasant impression.
Secondly, none of the products had visible price tags. It was confusing and inconvenient not to know the prices in advance.
And most importantly – the donuts I purchased had a very strange and unpleasant aftertaste, strongly resembling old goat milk. I’m not sure what caused it, but the flavor was off – putting and made the donuts inedible.

My hubs and I really enjoy getting donuts here! They do have breakfast tacos and other foods, but the donuts are where it’s at. Their eclairs are large and custard filled and are covered in chocolate. Their maple bars are regular donuts with maple frosting. Those are our go to orders right there! If you’re looking for some donuts for your drive to work or to start off your weekend, we highly recommend!

So sad to have to rate it 2 stars!! This place is in a strip center with a Starbucks on the other end. I wanted something for breakfast so I decided to go there instead of Starbucks since it is a locally-owned, independent, small business. The first thing I noticed was the the wall at the drive thru had what appeared to be “splatter” all over it from a spill, though it looked like it was spit from somebody. Not very appetizing! I ordered two large sausage and cheese kolaches and the guy asked if I wanted heated up. I said “yes”. I also ordered a couple of donuts. Upon getting home I discovered that the kolaches were ice-cold….literally, as if they had just come out of the fridge. The donuts were OK though they didn’t seem really fresh.
As I drove out I noticed that there were several cars in line at Starbucks and I was the only customer at Lago Donuts. Now I can understand why. Unfortunately, this little place has the opportunity to slay Goliath by providing a superior experience to its customers but ownership either doesn’t have the vision to do that, or they just don’t care. I really did want to support an independent small business, but no longer that one.

I really hate to only give 4⭐️ because I really do like this place. However, they are not consistent with their food. I always order the ham, egg and cheese croissant and every other time I order it it’s different. A different cheese or a very thinly sliced piece of ham vs the thicker piece of ham. Customer service is good, but again they are not consistent.
