I Absolutely loved the Hawaiian canzone. I also had a order of the cinnamon sticks and loved them.

I came in here late night with my friends and noticed the manager berating and yelling at what looked like a new hire. The new hire was simply trying to make our food and I felt as though the manager was extremely unprofessional and rude and I won’t come back.

I can’t believe this place is still open. I rarely ever give 1 star ratings and I’d give zero if I could. I ordered tonight and had the most expensive and disappointing meal that I’ve eaten in a while.

The garlic parmesan chicken was supposed to be covered in the sauce and they instead sent me dry chicken with 3 cups of garlic butter and no Parmesan. Like…what? What are you even doing over there?

The Mac and cheese was super pricey and I legit got a serving that didn’t even fully cover the bottom of the container and was it was barely barely even half full.

I didn’t get two of the other items I ordered because they were out. Ypsi deserves better. This place doesn’t even try to provide quality to its customers.

D.P. Dough on 729 west cross street, Ypsilanti, Mi 48197!! They’re open from 4pm-4am everyday!! I finally found my after work place to eat and let me tell you what this place is amazing as well! Best calzone I’ve had in a while. I got the BBQ chicken calzone and it was amazing. This place is perfect for my hours when I get out of work because I don’t clock out until about 2:30am Thrilled that you’re open this late. About to be coming here everyday after work for sure. Keep up the great work!

OK, so picture it it’s 2 AM Sunday into Monday morning and I’ve been fasting since Saturday and was hoping to get through the night but suddenly I’m so hungry and as a vegan options are limited… Well all prayers are answered in time! lol

sierra was so so lovely! There’s something about having a non-gruff male person there to greet you. Sierra made me the most exquisite vegan calzone with plentiful vegetables to balance out the carbohydrate and I just left feeling this renewed sense of something lol

I know it’s only a calzone at 2 AM but somehow it felt divine! thanks sierra and DP!

Pulled up to D.P. dough for a quick bite to eat. The menu had a variety of calzones to choose from but I decided to contruct my own along with my wife and I thought is pretty good for what they are trying to accomplish. I would visit again for the calzones.

I was curious to try the new restaurant on cross street, feeling hopeful that a calzone spot would bring a new addition to the cross street restaurant scene. Unfortunately, I was incredibly disappointed.

The calzone was nothing to write home about. The BBQ dipping sauce was doing most of the heavy lifting in terms of taste.

The tater tots were frozen tater tots heated up in a microwave. The chicken dunkers are frozen giant popcorn chicken pieces heated up in an oven. The chicken dunkers were not properly tossed (picture included). It is honestly offensive that such a poor quality restaurant is even trying to exist in Ypsilanti. You’re better off going to the
store and buying frozen tater tots and frozen giant popcorn chicken.

I’m not sure why I was hopefully that the restaurant that sat unopened with the lights on and trash clearly visible for months would be a good restaurant. Other google reviewers speak highly of this place, but I’m not convinced that they’re telling the truth. I have no idea how anyone could pay the prices they’re asking for and walk away thinking that they didn’t pay for the privilege of eating garbage.

I appreciate the late hours. Working midwives leaves you with limited options. This was my first time eating at D.P. Dough! I AM so glad I came. The BBQ chicken zone was delicious and perfect!
