This was our first visit since Seafood King has been in the new location on Ft Campbell Blvd. FOOD WAS EXCELLENT… a couple months ago, we went to the seafood boil place in Clarksville on Wilma Rudolph. Never again. Seafood King is sooo much better… the quality of the crab is better, the prices are cheaper (both places are market price), you get more than twice as much food (I had the half bucket at both places). The boil liquid is incredible, a little spicy, not NEARLY as salty (the other place uses way too much salt), lots of real butter. Hubby got the brisket sandwich… super tender and yummy. he couldnt stop eating eventhough he was full.
The service at Seafood King is pretty good. No wait to be seated (other place is an hour or longer even at early or late times), server got our order right away, only took about 15 min for bucket to be brought out. Chef came out to check on us. Juke box was playing but not loud at all. Saw a Poboy being taken to another table… the filling was falling out bc it was so over stuffed, trying that next time! My only suggestion would be to hold off on finishing/plating food that doesnt take as long as the boils. Hubbys brisket was brought out 5 min before my boil. He was halfway done when I got my crab. Everyones food should come out together so we can eat together.
Domt waste time going to Clarksville!!! Much better quality and flavor at Seafood King!

Im currently eating this pineapple shrimp dish. Its INCREDIBLE and well worth the wait!!! Its perfectly seasoned with a bit of spice. Shrimp are cooked to perfection… still tender, not rubbery. I thought the sauce was gna be “teriyaki-ish” but its not. The pineapple makes it sweet but its not overly so like teriyaki is. Definate creole flavors. The rice and veggies are tender but not mushy.
I cant wait to come back n try the crab legs (we got here late n they were sold out). Yall are doing an incredible job. nice to have some non-traditional southern ky restaurants. i will be back every week if i can!

It was excellent, just there for drinks for an appetizer which was the pineapple shrimp. Good stuff that. Beer was amazing, I don’t really dig beer and I don’t know what I had but it was awesome. Slightly sweet with a bit of apple to it. The wait staff was awesome, for me a bit to intrusive. When your heading a conversation I don’t like to be interrupted. However I did not take off for that.
In general this is an awesome place. Stop by check it out. Small simple menu good food and excellent atmosphere.

Cool atmosphere with many TVs. Staff was friendly and timely in getting us seated. I had the grilled shrimp stuffed pineapple and some others had the catfish. Everyone commented on how good the food was, not to mention hot and fresh off the grill. Price was good for the amount of food you got. Staff was a little slow so minus one star there, especially for the amount of people that where inside. Definitely beats all the franchise chain restaurants in the area though, very recommended.

Just ate there with my husband, for the first time, during a slow time..not impressed with the service. The food was great but I had to ask for our check. We were never checked on after we got our food. When we got our to-go boxes there was a hair on one of them–grossed me out completely. I told the waitress about the hair and she just said “oh okay” like it wasn’t a big deal. Also had to ask another waitress for to-go cups because our waitress forgot.

The fish was excellent. The fries are great too. No huspuppies which was a bummer. The young guys working were nice but they were slow. The seating is very limited too. They also only have bottled drinks and only about 4 things on the menu.

My husband and I went there for the first time. I had high expectations since there was so many 4/5 star reviews. Came in around a not busy hour so I had figured food would be quick and so would be the service. First thing I noticed was the music was SO LOUD that you could hardly hear yourself talk, let alone think. My husband order a beer and we didn’t receive the beer til we were done eating. The server was not apologetic and basically was like “Oh yeah, I forgot.” and brought back my husband a luke warm beer where it had just been sitting at the bar the whole entire time. We had ordered a FULL platter and we only got a half platter of food. There was one corn and barely any crab legs. I was also astounded to see a little 9-10 year old boy in the back TOUCHING other people’s food & eating off their plates that were sitting in the window. The ONLY positive thing that I have to say is what little food we got from a “full platter” actually taste good. But we will not be going back there ever again after the terrible service and witnessing children in the back of the restaurant; where they do not belong, touching & eating off other people’s plates. Very unsanitary.

Not impressed with the service. Got there at 5: 00. Had to ask for flatware, ketchup, and refills. Out of unsweetened tea. They were out of pulled pork. “Best Damn Burger” was good. Fries were cold. Shrimp poorboy sandwich, some of the shrimp weren’t cleaned…still had legs and shell. Huge bun. Ribs were tender, but not much flavor. Probably not going back. Either be a sports bar or a restaurant… Not doing well at either.

First impression. Might change on second trip. Catfish PO Boy was very good. The Catfish itself was tremendous. A little too much bread for my liking and very glad I didnt get fries because of this. Although I did get to taste the fries and they were delicious as well. Staff was excellent. Will definitely be going back for that Baked Potato I saw.
