The smoke in there was horrible burning my eyes, need some kind of ventilation. Bathroom door was broken, no toilet paper, toilet seat was broken. One bartender told me to get my hand out her face because she couldn’t hear me when I ask for a paper towel and I pointed at it. Trying to exuded her dominance I guess. Very young crowd, so if you’re looking for THAT and a overall dirty place with rude wait staff…come to Andy’s. I used to come here back in the day when I was an Akron resident and the vibe was different, clean, more secure and not trashy. I wouldn’t eat the food that is served there, it tasted like someone’s dirty house.

Iam new to Ohio, via Atlanta, and I was looking for an outlet to relax for a quick second. Subsequently ended up at Andys, in Akron. Found the service was friendly, and down to earth, it gives me a young hip-hop/urban vibe with a country swing. Drinks are on Fire! Reasonable price, security at the door. I dealing with cancer and I was in a lot of pain that night, but when I exit. I was feeling good.

It was an ok bar. Food was so so. Bathroom was a disaster. Door was broke, toilet was broke and the sink. Looked like it was from a fight. None of it fixed. Some people were friendly there

After some of the bar experiences I’ve had lately I was impressed with Andy’s. I felt safe and welcomed the bartender even bought me a drink and I thought it was cute that she danced to some of the country songs I played. If you’re looking for a place to go and not feel judged or different go to Andy’s.

Not the same. Andy’s use to be a small quaint relatively well maintained bar in a white neighborhood that accommodated a younger Black patronage. It’s still accommodating but as standup legend Chris Rock said “you have black people and then you got …..”

The decor is atrocious. Even if it’s thoroughly clean it still would resemble the basement of your local crack house. Or your neglected childhood friends house, who always threw sets in his basement, because his parental unit was always chasing an altered reality.

I still would return under some extremely random occurrence but can’t foresee me ever being a regular. If your ever find yourself already intoxicated off a 40 of OE, twisting a Philly, and listening to Spice 1 head to Andy’s you’ll most definitely kick it.

The customers kept bumping me, the bartenders were so rude i waited a hour and thirty minutes for one shot of Jack, they were smoking weed and cigarettes in the bar. My eyes were burning from the smoke.
