This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in a while! Was driving down Ramona express looking up brunch food and this restaurant came up. We were not too sure about it but to me it seems like a place you would find in Mexico so stop by as soon as I walked in, I knew I was in the right place cause they serve a lot of Mexican dishes That a lot of Mexican restaurants do not have available. My wife got the Birria de Chivo, my mother-in-law got Menudo, I got the flautas side cecina and a military (just cuz I’m a fat boy). Oh I got a coffee which was delicious! I put some creamer in. It, took a sip and questioned whether it was already Sweetened? I asked the server and she said it’s not sweetened at all! So I drank it with no sugar and it was great. I tasted my wife’s Birria and it was really good. My flautas and Mulita were delicious as well. The tortillas were made by hand and they brought us a green and red salsa. Unfortunately, they were out of chips at the moment, but we didn’t really care. Definitely will be back if I’m in the area! Yeah, this place a shot won’t disappoint.

I have to say that the rice and beans had a plan teast I had to add salt l guess that makes it a good thing because some places may have added too much or not enough like in this case I was a little bit disappointed with the beans I prefer refried beans I should have asked before I order it the enchiladas were tasty the agua fresca was great cantaloupe flavor I would return to try a another plate

I always hear great things about this restaurant so I went to go try it and the menudo was delicious. The service was also great the workers are very friendly and attentive. I will most definitely be coming back.

We stopped in at 2pm on a Saturday in March and were the only customers. The hostess/waitress was very kind and good. Nice beer and food selection. Did not expect cheese on the burrito, not mentioned on the menu. Big beer selection. Service was great, price reasonable. Did not know where to park.
