Best matcha i have ever tried, bright green and flavorful, can definitely taste a high quality matcha. My favorite flavors are biscoff, raspberry agave and blackberry lavender. There are also bunch of yummy pastry and other drinks like chai and lemonade which I also love. The owners are super nice and care about customers. They always come up with fun ideas for holidays and try to engage with people.

Definitely, definitely, definitely recommend!!! They’re fully plant-based, which is perfect for my lactose-intolerant partner. The giant cinnamon roll was delicious, moist and not dry at all, and coated in frosting – easily the best plant-based one I’ve ever had. We also tried the cinnamon apple chai, which was a little too sweet for me personally but still really good. There’s plenty of outdoor seating, the customer service was super friendly, and our order came out quickly.

Okay, I have to share this as I’m overly impressed with the flavor, the freshness, the texture, the quality of the products here. Our daughter is Gluten intolerant and she can eat here without issues. The sign on the door says 100% plant based, and I’m told her products are vegan. I used to be a skeptic about gluten-free, 100% plant based products until our daughter who is a baker became Gluten intolerant. After trying commercially purchased Gluten-Free or Gluten-Sensitive baked goods I thought my baked goods cravings were over. Our daughter being the determined young woman she is found substitutes and tricks to make Gluten-Free taste good. The owner at Moo’s Bakery she has also mastered the craft of baking 100% plant based baked goods. From the cookies to the muffins, and to the scones. This young lady has it figured out. Our scones this morning were so fresh, moist and amazing. Every bite was a burst of flavor!!! If you are in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and craving the freshest and most flavorful baked goods stop in at Moo’s Bakery and try her baked goods. Our daughter also loves her drinks. She says the Original Matcha is absolutely the best Matcha she has ever had. Again, shop local and support local talent and a hard working entrepreneur. UPDATE: September 7, 2025 – Okay, this young lady is so talented! I had to do the Blue Berry Scone as they are super delicious. My spouse had the Raspberry Cinnamon Roll. Okay, I have a new Moo’s favorite. This Cinnamon Roll is over the moon!!! So moist, so full of Cinnamon and Raspberry, such good icing, and above all soft. Oh my did I just drool on my phone delicious!!!! If you have not tried Moo’s Raspberry Cinnamon Rolls you don’t know what you are missing. So good myvspouse went back in and got another for breakfast tomorrow morning. Amazing!!!!

Moos did our wedding cake and not only was it beautiful but delicious as well! We scheduled a cake tasting a little over a month before the big day and got to choose 6 cupcakes with various fillings and frosting, we ended up with a Vanilla Biscoff and it was AMAZING!! Moos did such an incredible job having my cake vision come to life! It was beautiful and we saved some in the freezer for our first anniversary! Can’t wait to have it again in another 300+ days!!

Best 2 sandwiches I’ve ever eaten! Bread is high quality and fluffy. Fillings are well chosen and condiments (if you can call them that) aren’t what you’d expect but are perfect.
Their scones are huge and delicious. They aren’t dry and flavorless like some scones. The scones tasted like a scone should taste.
Chai isn’t too sweet, it tastes closer to authentic chai than most places.
The one con is this place is pretty expensive. The portions are large, though. Everything was larger than I expected it to be, and they should be large for the price.
After my first visit this is immediately one of my favorite restaurants. Maybe the best tasting food in Cedar Falls.

I went to Moos bakery for the first time when visiting my grandparents in CF and my siblings and I were all obsessed! I went to UNI and would have loved this place while I was in college but I will settle for visiting from minneapolis when possible:) My siblings live in STL missouri and also talk highly about moos often<3 Best matcha i’ve had in a long time and incredible avo toast, and merch!

Moos made our wedding cake and we couldn’t recommend more! Our guests loved the sheet cake and our smaller cake for the cake cutting looked exactly like the inspo photo we sent. Both cakes were very yummy! Thank you for helping us make our special day perfect!

The roasted red pepper and fig sandwich is AMAZING. The fig spread brings a sweet taste with red pepper flakes bringing the heat. The toast is crunchy and fresh and the soft tomatoes balance it out. I have loved moos bakery for a while and usually just get their drinks, which are also amazing btw. The atmosphere is always calming and decorated for a holiday or event. I would recommend stopping by with a friend, getting a drink and sharing a dessert or sandwich!

I ordered a s’mores cheesecake for pickup and Maddie had it ready perfectly on time! I have ordered various items from Moo’s, which have always been great, but this cheesecake was INCREDIBLE. The crust is thick and buttery, the middle of the cheesecake is SO creamy, and the top is chocolatey and a little smokey in the BEST way. Y’all, my husband would not shut up about how much he loved this cheesecake. Heck, I can’t even shut up about it.
Maddie has great customer service, and her two-person team clearly puts in hard work. Moo’s is definitely a gem of the Cedar Valley!
