This Mexican restaurant was good and more affordable than anything on Navy Pier. The reason for the mid review is the quality of the steak I received with my meal. It was too small of a portion for the price. The waitress asked how I wanted it cooked, I said medium rare, and I got excited to see a decent steak. I was disappointed to see the steak when it came to the table. It was brown all the way through it’s 1/4 inch thickness. A good portion of the steak also tasted rancid. My daughters agreed that it was inedible. Probably a total of 6 ounces of steak. The other food was great. The fish tacos are highly recommended.

It’s a Mexican restaurant with not much of an authentic Mexican vibe. The food was okay but I’ve had way better. The chips weren’t good at all and their salsas were average. The carne asada was greasy and that typically makes me sick, I surely did get sick. First time customer and don’t really care to be a repeat. Maybe for unseasoned customers who don’t know what real Mexican food tastes like, this is the spot.

I couldn’t have picked a better spot to enjoy delicious fajitas and a refreshing margarita flight! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, perfect for a great dinner just outside Navy Pier. Andres went above and beyond with his service; he made us feel genuinely cared for and gave fantastic recommendations for both food and drinks. Every bite and sip exceeded expectations. As far as Mexican cuisine goes, everything was pretty bland. I had the steak quesadillas, and they were mediocre. Definitely smaller than I assumed they would be. But the rice and the beans just didn’t have much flavor. I’m a girl who doesn’t like anything spicy, and I even thought the salsa was bland! For a Mexican restaurant in chicago, I’m surprised these guys are still going. It may be just their close proximity to Navy Pier. The waitress was extremely pleasant and she split the checks for us. The vibe in there was really cool! If I ever came back, I might do so just for the margarita flights, but I would skip the food!

Really dark and small. $26 to park in the building which is Lake Point Tower. I didn’t mind because I thought my food was going to be on point!! Baby bye…it wasn’t!!!! We had a nice waiter. He was very attentive it was just that the food wasn’t all that at all! This place might just be good for tacos and fajitas… The salsa was some cheap watered down salsa it was also hot like it was microwaved! So I knew my foodie experience wasn’t going to be the best! But I gave it a whirl!!
I ordered Enchiladas with Mole sauce, a Pina Colada, and guacamole. My enchiladas were barely filled with meat. The beans were a soup consistency the standard cheeses that’s used for enchiladas are Cojita or Chihuahua cheese but a cheap cheese sauce was used. I was so bummed!!! Why would I want nacho cheese on my enchiladas!??
My pina colada was decent. Now the guacamole was really good! Like the best thing in the joint! Not heavily doused with lime or over salted, not overly chunky! They used thee most perfect avocados. It was soo good I ordered two orders. I would order that through Door Dash! I was really disappointed in the food…Step your game up Casa Margarita!!!!!

The nachos were stale and made my stomach upset. I ordered togo and realized they tried charging me 18% gratuity. When I confronted the waitress she said the system automatically puts the tip on there. Well clearly it states *Dine-in only* i normally tip in either instance but feel like many people have probably been scammed for their take-out orders and just overlook it.

Julian was our server. Well we sat at the bar and he was the bartender. He was amazing. Very attentive even though he had other clients to take care of. The food was good. He made sure to check up on us often. Great service overall.
