First time at The Rift last night with friends and family. Really cool place in the Cargo District. Very unique atmosphere that I will surely be visiting again. Great food, drinks and service in a one of a kind space. The refrigerator door entrance was amazing and hinted at what would surely await you inside. Highly recommend and maybe I’ll see you there.

Wanna have som fun?!! The Rift is your spot!! Great food! Super friendly staff! Family friendly but also here for the adults. Everything from PBR to extremely tasty slushies! Couches, TV’s galore, dog friendly and sooooo much room for activities in the backyard. Make it your mission to come check this sweet place out. Available for private parties too!! WHAT?!

Really cute bar! I love the atmosphere. It’s kept so clean, the bartenders are so nice, and the drinks are so good. I’ve had the chicken nachos and the Kahuna Kahuna pizza and they were both so good! I love the outside areas, it’s so cute in the summer and the winter. The outside winter igloo tents that they set up are so cute. I love outdoor movie nights and I’m here right now for the super bowl! Such a nice place to hangout with people 🙂

if want a bar that never misses, go to The Rift. The drinks rotate with the seasons, the events are either niche in the best way or perfectly timed with whatever everyone’s obsessed with, and the pizza is unreal. Whether you’re going all in or barely drinking, it still hits. I’ve genuinely never had a bad time here.

The rift is the best spot in Wilmington! The atmosphere is fun, plenty of seating, and the BEST owners/bartenders in town! They are family and leashed dog friendly! If you are a sports fan they have numerous screen options to watch what you want! They host fun and entertaining events year round that you don’t want to miss! The pizza and food is a newer perk and is all delicious!! Love the rift!!

Watching the Super Bowl 2026 at The Rift in Wilmington was an awesome experience. The crowd brought nonstop energy, the drinks were solid, and it felt like the perfect mix of local bar vibe and big-game excitement. Great spot to watch football with friends — I’d absolutely go back for another big game.

I recently visited The Rift, a spot that was once known as the Dog Park Bar, and I was absolutely blown away by the incredible transformation! The remodel has completely turned it into a vibrant and welcoming space. The atmosphere is lively, and I especially loved the outdoor lounge area – it’s the perfect place to soak up the sun. I can’t wait to return and enjoy more of the great energy this place offers. Highly recommend!

This place is soooo cool! Fun entrance, cocktails and outdoor area. Lots of seating available, cornhole, dj, live music and a drag show later. Only recommendation would be outdoor fans… it gets hot out there in the summer without it and it’s unbearable to be outside too long.

You have to get food at the mess hall on the other side of the open grounds. Otherwise Rift is an amazing place! Dog friendly with a great atmosphere, a bunch of couches inside, card games plus pool. Outside has huge seating area, some shaded some not, with corn hole and usually there’s live music or events going on after 5! Fantastic place to just hang out and meet friendly people.
