This spot used to be a different restaurant, but it has reborn as a completely new, modern, a bit more upscale restaurant. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a welcoming smile.
The dining area was not very big, but not too small. They had nice space around each tables so that you are not crumped in there. Once we all put in our order, our serve brought complimentary bread. They were pretty great, we had one with olive, cranberry and of course, regular bread.
We started with a couple of cocktails, Honey Pear Margarita and Apple Cran Moscow Mule. Honey Pear Margarita was strong with noticeable sweetness from honey, but didn’t have much pear flavor. Apple Cran Moscow Mule had nice fruity flavor without overwhelming.
For appetizer, I ordered Lobster Mac and Cheese, which was AMAZING!!!! Generous amount of lobster chunk meat, gooey cheese goodness! My hubby went with 1/2 Pound Stuffed Quahog, which was certainly nice big size! It was juicy and packed with flavor.
For main, I ordered Filet of Sole Français, served with asparagus and jasmine rice on this day. The fish was flaky and juicy, delightful. Very parmesan and tasty. My hubby chose Seafood Alfredo. It had generous amount of seafood of several kinds. They were all plump, fresh and tasty.
For dessert, we had Peppermint Cheesecake and Wild Berry Cobbler. The cheesecake was moist and dense, with great peppermint flavor. Cobbler was filled with all sorts of berries, such as blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries. It was a perfect combination of sweet and tart flavor.
We had a really nice dinner here. Our server was nice and attentive, polite and helpful. We really enjoyed all the food and drinks we had, including the desserts. Tasty food and drinks at affordable price tag, I am glad this restaurant opened!

My shrimp scampi was delicious! My husband had the halibut special. The bruschetta was super tasty too. Nice atmosphere and good service.

While the bartender is great, the food not so great. I’ve tried this place a few times and I won’t be back.
The chef is arrogant and one who forgets who pays for and eats “his” food. I don’t eat raw seafood, so when I asked the chef to cook the tuna to my liking, he flatly refused. If I’m paying for the meals, (and they’re not inexpensive by any means), I should be able to get my meal the way I want it cooked, not raw. Some restaurant folks seem to forget that we are the paying guests. I do not recommend Josh’s. It’s sad to see a place start to decline.

The food here is excellent. I would especially recommend the Filet of Sole. The fish was cooked perfectly and it was delicious. The baby spinach and strawberry salad is an excellent starter as are the pan-seared scallops with macadamia nuts. The server was friendly and provided excellent service. The restaurant was quite busy so I would recommend getting a reservation, especially on a weekend. Parking is limited but there are adjacent businesses where overflow cars may park.

I needed to update my review. We have been going to Josh’s with some frequency of late and every meal has been terrific. I really enjoy the salads, my favorite drink is the raspberry sparkler. Both my husband and I have only had one perfect meal after another. The service is perfect. I highly recommend Josh’s.

Just got done with a nice night out with my wife. The waitress was good, the appetizer was good and main course was solid. Caesar salads have a heavy anchovy flavor and the cheesecake desert was OK. This review would be 4 stars but was ruined by either the owner or hostess who basically asked us to leave 5 min after we paid our tab. I have never had that happen at any restaurant ever and it absolutely ruined our experience. Hopefully this isn’t common practice.

My family lives nearby and shortly after Josh’s opened it quickly became our favorite place to eat all year round. The atmosphere is nice and the menu is awesome! There are always delicious new specials to try out but it’s hard to decide between those and the tried and true winners on their regular menu. I definitely recommend stopping by.

Don’t understand the reviews, makes no sense. Best way I can describe the food is subpar. Risotto was over cheesed to the point where all the subtlety and texture vanished. Shrimp were overcooked and rubbery. My duck and mashed potatoes were underwhelming, mashed potatoes were bad and tasted like they came from a box. Duck was tough and overly charred. My wife’s fish scampi was an over battered eggy mess…she didn’t finish and actually didn’t want the boxed leftover. Rare for her.
Drink was a lemon drop and really good.
Service was underwhelming and it seemed our waitress hated her job and was rather cranky.
All that for $127. Sigh.
Would not recommend at all.
