This was our first time at Los Amigos after hearing only good things from friends. We have lived in White House for 4 years and have frequented Los agaves and Los jalepenos.

We have been going to Los Amigos since they first opened in White House, TN, and we absolutely love it. It is our favorite restaurant in the White House area; eating here at least twice a week. The food quality is excellent – so tasty. The staff and service are also exemplary, and Alex, Christian, Rosy, and the other staff always make us feel so welcome. Thank you, LOS AMIGOS! Great, authentic Mexican food, really delicious. And the atmosphere is great as well. It’s not precisely cheap, but it’s worth paying for quality, and Los Amigos is top quality!

We’ve been coming here since they opened. I proclaimed it was the best Mexican restaurant in White House to anyone who would listen. Then their prices increased, in my opinion, pretty drastically(me & my 2 kids push $50 or more after tip when we used to get away with $35). Okay, no big deal, we’ll only come when we can afford to, since their food is really good… Fast forward to tonight: Food was great, service was lacking. We signed up on the iPad by the door for the $2 off, it gives you 15 minutes from sign-up to show someone your text before the offer expires. I showed our server, and it seemed to ruin the rest of the visit. Inattentive, told me it’d be $2 to add cheese to my kid enchilada even though the menu said $1.50 for cheese on an adult plate. Brought us our check and refused to stop by our table anymore after that. Had to ask another server to bring cups for our drinks and salsa. Only brings one drink(which I didn’t need, just wanted empty cups to pour our existing drinks into). He tells our server, who then suddenly has plenty of time to ring me up for an additional $4 chips & salsa to-go after ignoring us for over 10 minutes. I said I didn’t need another chips & salsa, I just wanted to take what we had to-go, just needed a cup & bag. He told me not to worry about it and just to take the new chips/salsa. Get to the register, it’s still ringing up with the added chips & salsa… Told him to remove it from my check, I took the $4 chips & salsa out of my bag for them to keep along with the singular drink, and I kept my tip. Very poor experience. If you’re upset at people trying to save a couple of dollars in this economy, remove the iPad from the front counter, Christian. Unfortunately won’t be back.

Not On My Watch
This place is head and shoulders above the rest of all the Mexican restaurants in and around White House Tennessee. Being from Chicago I know good Mexican food and Los Amigos is the place you will always want to come back to. The food is very good and consistently very good. The drinks are big and the price excellent. After one dinner, this will be the ONLY Mexican restaurant that you will ever want to go to. Truthfully the other restaurants are garbage, this is the place to eat! Try here once and you’ll become a loyal patron!
