New place and I think it will be great.
They have an extensive menu and the food was good! If you come within when it’s crowded expect some delay since they are all pretty new.
I hope the keep the employees engaged and pleasant and continue to improve!

We made the drive from Swansea just to try it and we were not disappointed. Easily our new favorite Mexican restaurant! Our food was incredible, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect (not crowed, comfortable temperature and seating, music not too loud). My husband is Mexican and extremely picky with his Mexican food and he raved the entire time over how great his torta was! His spicy margarita was so delicious he ordered 2! Highly recommended!!

Popped by El Churrasco for a tequila, cervesa and a bite of food. I ordered chorizo dip and chicken quesadilla. The queso is always think and creamy with rich cheese flavor. Love the quesadilla, as you can see — I already have a photo from a previous visit. Here’s Mimo serving my tequila shot. He is always smiling and enjoys engaging with the patrons. Next time you are at the intersection of Hwy 178 & Hwy 302 in Pelion, SC, pull in to El Churrasco for good food and drink with nice ambiance.

Back at El Churrasco! Grabbed a shot of Herradura Silver Tequila with an iced cold Victoria, chips and salsa and an order of Chorizo Dip.
I tried something new. I like to switch it up a bit — I went with the Grilled Chicken Salad. The avacado was at the perfect stage of ripening. I got a Corn Chicken Quesadilla — to go, but initially served on a plate for the photo. Delish!! Salsa has just the right bite! You must get here and try yourself!!

The best Mexican food I’ve had, don’t tell me Grandmother. Birria pizza was amazing. My wife is been wanting one for a year and this is truly worth the wait. The tacos are done exactly as they should be done. Bravo! The Lengua (tongue) tacos were the best I’ve had ever. I’ll be back for that soon. Everything we had was the best. Service was polite and prompt. I loved it.

I absolutely love Mexican food, and I am picky, but El Churrasco did not disappoint at all. Excellent service, delicious food, clean restaurant, nice atmosphere. I don’t know why it took me this long to try them, but I’m sure glad I did. I love chorizo, and they have several dishes with it . I also enjoyed the Spicy Margarita . I’ll be back.

Yup. I’m in heaven. The wife got the Enchilada Supreme but I didn’t get a picture of it. Lol. Too busy chowing on mine. But she really enjoyed it as well. Possibly the best Quesabirra Tacos I’ve ever had. Definitely coming back!
